Great ship! I'm not an expert on navy battleships, but the curves here are smooth and realistic. The detail on such a large creation is astonishing, thanks for posting this. Is there an inside?

And I thought I had a lot of bricks !! Very nicely modeled hulls, so realistic. In fact all the detail is a nice scale, really satisfying constructions !!>.....well done

Quoting Gert Stessel When you built it, do you work with a building plan or do you use Ldd ? it's just awesome and i love it, all of your ships are awesome !!! I played with lego my all live and i have a lot :-) , i also have more then 30 megablocks items ( like the uss nimitz, uss kitty hawk,.... )and now i'm interested to go bigger !!! :-) I was wandering if you would be upset if i tried to rebuild it in belgium?
thanks for your comment.I don't use building plans just scale everything down from specs of real ship.you can copy anything you like it is nice that you wish to.if I was to build it again I would use round bricks for masts etc.I generallybuild with Mega books and use Lego for the finishing touches.now that I use bricklink it makes it easier to get a better finish rather than making do.I have bought kittyhawks.Nimitz etc by the hundreds LOL.regards jim

For my HMS Warrior, I ordered loads of dark grey bricks off the lego website, costing 92 (thats about $141). I also brought a large megoblocks aircraft carrior so I have a mixture of mainly dark and light grey bricks. I have built a modern battleship called HMS Beatle. However, its only a foot long. You can see it on my profile

Quoting Admiral Hutton Great model! When you build these ships, did you order most of the bricks off a website? or have you just got loads of lego sets?
thank you for that.yes i have loads of lego started when i was about 5,now 46,these are bricks left over from what i have.my fiancee buys me loads of lego/megabloks on the internet, most weeks atleast one parcel arrives at the door,i use both lego/megabloks{no difference except megabloks cheaper and doesnt fit quite as good as lego)hoping to build a japanese ww2 carrier next once i get more pieces.by the way your hms warrior is by far your best, not keen on ships with the ready made hulls,
