The rotating beacon rotates! :)







This is a ground radar station. It is used by air traffic controllers to determine the position of aircraft.



This is an ILS glide slope and localizer station. They tell pilots their position vertically and laterally to the approach path.



Here are pictures of the VOR-DME. This is an aircraft navigation station that tells pilots their distance and radial to the station.

Sweet! My brother is an air traffic controller. I've spent a lot of time around airports and these are pretty accurate! Very nice. Would look cool at a Lego airport.
