Black Pickup
After building my fire rescue pickup about one year ago I always want to build a civilian version, but never did - well until today ;-)
About this creation

After I saw Bryan Lyles hi-rail pickup my idea came back to mind and I thought its time to give it a go. The size Brian has choosen seemed perfect, so I used the same. The front (bumper) is a variation of the one I used for my 7635 Mod. Like my other pickup this one has doors too. For the wheels I have used parts from series 2 of the collectible minifigures. With these we have now another possibilty besides the standard wheels. Would be good if these will be available in different colors someday.

Hope you'll like it.

Update with some instruction shots.

The first batch of pictures show some building steps of the main part.

The next two pictures show how the front bumper is build.

And here you see the wheel assembly.

And now happy building ;-)

Quoting Dalton Brooks oh ok i was wondering how much it would cost to buy this
You mean via 'Design by Me'? Well the model is build with 158 parts. If this would be an official set with a minifig included I think it would cost about 15-20 Euros. Anyway I have added some instruction shots as promised, so now you can build your own.

Quoting Dalton Brooks this is awesome could you make instructions plz?
Thanks Dalton, I don't make instructions per se, but I'll add some pictures of main building steps to get you started, if that's ok for you. This model is relatively simple to build, so with some additional pictures it shouldn't be too hard to replicate. More pictures will be added in the next days.

Quoting Mr. Blacks Market Weapondry Co. " If its less than legit, then we supply it." - Mr. Blacks The Black 4x6 wedge piece used for the hood. What is its element ID number and what set has it in white????
The Wedge 4 x 6 x 2/3 Triple Curved part's LDraw-No (Design-Id) is 52031. The Lego-Element-Id for this part in white is 4261565. If you follow this link http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=52031&in=S you will get a list with all sets that contain this part in every available color. If you want to by a set to get this part (besides other useful pieces) I would suggest you buy the 7245 Prisoner Transport, because it contains many other useful pieces to build your pickup. Hope that helps and happy building.

Quoting Nathan B Nice work. The front lights are very muscle car looking. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Nathan. The look of the front lights is intentional. Always using the mini slopes is a bit boring ;-)
