Well, we all know Leda's going to give a jolly good spanking on this girly category, but anyways, here goes nothing...

'Captain Dianna, I still think seeing the Oracle is madness. A talking frog in a bowl located in some deep cave? Ridiculous!'

'The Oracle is holy and has guided our efforts well thus far Derek, or does my first-mate seek to make himself Captain?'

'For every bit of good advice the Oracle gives us, it seems to steer us astray a dozen more!'

'Enough! Else my slave-girl here start thinking to argue with me aswell.'

'Never mistress...'

'Captain, the oars just went down, we must be at the atol.'

'Excellent, let's go find out which side we should take in the upcoming strife shall we?'
8

9

Dianna kneels before the Oracle frog to recieve advice...
10

As the fiery Privateer Captain prays to the oracle for guidance, Esmerelda, the true voice behind the talking frog prepares to deliver the advice her council of anti-imperial rebels has decided best to divulge.
11

Telling Dianna she should seek to join the obviously doomed side in the upcoming battle, the ship's Captain goes beserk and desecrates the temple. Esmerelda runs out in horror to stop the carnage.
12

'So, you're the one feeding me all this bad advice! Well I think it's time to replace this frog with a new Oracle. Take this!'

Horrified, the slave-girl runs deeper into the caverns, desperate to escape her capricious owner.
13

'Captain, Katrina's getting away.'
'Nevermind, let's get out of here incase there's more of these rebel scum about. I can always find another slave-girl. We have a battle to join, and for once, we are going to join the right side! The winning side! The Empire!

Quoting Leda Kat Congratulations mate! A very well played game indeed. Best of luck in round 4. You need to have more confidence in your work and skill because you'll be playing with the big boys now! You are an amazing builder and you make it look easy! I look forward to seeing your progress in this game. Bring it home for Australasia huh?! Show those Americans how its done down under style!
Hehe, cheers Leda, and once again, a great playoff, time for some ANZAC spirit!

Quoting Stuart Delahay Congrats on advancing mate! I just commented on Leda's MOC that it was always going to be a disappointment when one of you took the other out, and that the same thing will no doubt come up again, but nonetheless this is a great creation that deserves praise. The presentation clinches this one for me, the mix of fig and nano scales working well for you again. Nice landscaping, lovely little ship (upside down cape as a sail?) and a slave girl too. Bravo!
spot on Stu, an upside down cape, worked a treat hey! Yup, there is always room for a slave girl in any good story I say, they are always fun to rescue. You would just love the book I am writing at the moment. If only was a published author, this aspiring business is getting old! lol...

WoW! Guys, thanx heaps, I am seriously and nicely surprised to be going through again, and chuffed you guys enjoyed the little add ons with this one. Mike, thanks for your confidence but I'll be struggling to maintain my dignity in the next round I imagine! Leda thanks for the positive encouragement and a great play-off, your actuall waterfall was totally majestic and destroyed mine, I think again as with Cody G, I was so intimidated by my opponenet that I just kept on building stuff around the feature itself until there was enough to scrape through! Thanking judges might seem dodgey, so I'll just say a general cheerio, and let's see what a battling ole Aussie builder can do!

I see you have done it once again. Good job my friend, good job! You obviously know what the judges want and are making the most of it. Can't wait to see what you pull out of your bag of tricks next. I have a feeling you'll make it to the finals and maybe even take the top prize! No matter what congratulations once again.

Well done Parrington ! I'm amazed by your ability to make MOCs which are very different from what you usually do: this landscape is simply great, particularly the rocks. And the boat is very nice too, not talking about the fun story... I think you deserved to win (although Leda's waterfall is quite amazing...).

hmm!nice change of style...it s funny to see this from you,i think it would fit with some of your spaceships,i d like to see a landing pad next to the bottom of the chute!just 1 pic! very nice! the surroundings around the chute, simple, but, efficient, the micro ship aint bad,the ships interior is very nicely built,if a little bland, color wise, the choice of figs and faces is inspired,my moment in the moc is when i saw the pic with the crack in the rocks, and the one with the sword up her neck, lol!the toad was also funny, but,a 2nd zoomed pic on it would have made a difference! the end seemed a little rushed tough. overall, this being out of your normal work, i think it s excellent work,2-3 more like this, and you ll start your own series! good job parr!

Your waterfall is a bit weak, however, this is "waterfall landscape" and your landscape is great. Leda, however, went very original, has a much better waterfall and did the cool lighting and great colors...so who wins? What is that smell? Is that an upset I smell? Yes it is. You have my vote to go along with Yuri's and the win. Welcome to the Sweet 16 you crazy Aussie!

Nothing terribly impressive or innovative here, but the use of nanoscale helps scaling it up. both the fall and the landscape are very nice and well built (better than I could do for sure). I vote for you.

Lovely scenery and nice story! Thank goodness I'm not a judge. Though if they judge word for word from the category then Ledas waterfall may be a bit more "majestic" :) But yours has a lot more going on. Great work! Good luck with the judges!

Quoting Heath 'kik36' Flor Great execution here Parrington! Love the story, and the rock outcroppings, cave, and vegetation are excellent! My only criticism here is that the fall itself is flat. If Leda beats you here, it will prob be because she builds a more robust 3 dimensional falls model. Oh and I think that ship is awesome too!! Good luck with your judges mate!
Hehe, well you picked it mate! Her funky waterfall is almost 4D! Oh well, atleast I have a bit more scenery...
