how did you light up the water?
It was a small flashlight behind the moc that shone through the transparent bricks. |

Like my fishnet tights and black leather thong you mean? You can borrow them whenever you want, only not this weekend, I need them for a concert I'm giving at the...Oh wait, you mean my trans lego pieces?... Oh yeah, trans is my bag baby. Truly an amazing piece of work Leda! The lighting really put this one over the top for me. Both entries were amazing! So glad I didn't have to judge this one. Woulda been a tough call. Come on over to the "beat the judges" group and lay some smackdown on me! You know how I love the abuse... ~ Chris. |

Look honestly, when i saw the title picture i thought you were trying to portray a glass pipe organ - i was very interested in what the theme was. Then i saw it - i am loving this waterfall, the whole mars scene works for me - those judges cant have seen Total Recall for a long time. If i were a judge id be giving this mine and the two others votes lol. Gives me some awesome ideas... 5/5 my Kiwi friend!! ~Thoy |

My uncle wrote a book about Mars. If he was looking at this he'd be delighted to note that you have accurately depicted the surface of Mars as brown, NOT red. If I'd been voting that would have swung it your way... as it is, congrats on a spectacular waterfall and commiserations on the result. |

Great job Leda, I love the lighting and iridescence of the water. The martian landscape is pretty barren, but that was also a bit of the problem with the judges I think. The one thing you might have done is to add rocks to the flat lands, just to give it some dynamic. But other than that, amazing. ~Waff |

I love how Yuri voted against this as well, but Hansi wants to see ME beat up by Leda.....thanks Cheffy!
What does seeing you beat up by Leda have to do with the judging? You're the one reading something into it;^) I would just like to see you spanked by her, is that so wrong? :p~H |

I love this mate, cleverly stepping around a lack of clear trans by utilising all your other trans pieces - I even see windshields integrated in there! It was always going to be a disappointment when You or Parrington knocked the other out, and i'm sure there'll be more matchups like this where i'm not rooting for one or the other, just waiting to see what's posted and enjoying it. Comisserations on not advancing, but nice build regardless. |

Wow, the mighty have fallen...This really was a tight one(shut it!), each MOC having it's outstanding features. I love the lighted waterfall effect, it makes me so jealous of all those colorful trans pieces. Now, Mars does have beautiful rock landscapes, something that would have probably put this over the top. Oh well, you battled hard, now it's time to join me on the sidelines so we can heckle the remaining competitors together! Plus, you could always challenge Bones in one of the side-games; that is a spanking I want to see!~Princess |

Wow! You have a lot of trans. peices! I like the waterfall a lot, the way it lights up is a nice feature. The landscape is bland but its meant to be, because Whats actually on Mars thats not bland? I also get kinda jealous when people use aliens, 'cause I never got any.

Gorgeous. I knew your build would be prettier, but I had no idea you'd do it like this! An alien waterfall! Like der, how did I not think to do that? I was sitting here looking at all my trans yellow with a smirk on my face, but never thought to just go alien like you have here. Clever. I love the little aliens, so cute! This certainly looks majestic Leda, especially that shot from in front slightly overhead. With the light going through the trans colors, it is a magical effect. Best of luck in round 4.

This is exactly how you bring it when you don't have the "norm" to fulfill the category requirements. Like I told Parrington....you building a 3D waterfall could take it....but the whole martian thing may take it regardless. I didn't mean to be harsh on last entry, but I want you to be just as honest with me in this contest....if it ain't up to par call it out. The only thing you lack here is scenery. No matter how the judges call it, I'm extremely proud of your entry here. |
