Omnipotence
Its been a long time since I've built a good ol' fashioned mech. After much toil, I am happy to bring you "Omnipotence."
About this creation
Whenever I build a mech, I usually have to make some sort of tradeoff: I can't fit a pilot AND have it be proportional, it can't be articulated AND look cool, etc etc. To hell with it, I say! 'Omnipotence' is a sturdy, articulated, pilot holding, color schemed, modular-weapon toting, balanced, armored, winged, bipedal mecha of DOOM!

Backstory? That minigun is all the backstory you need.

Like the shoulder cannons? Just wait...

Ahhhhhhh yeah.

Flamethrower attachment.

Every pose is a power pose.

Detail of the back. I really tried to make this guy look good from every angle. Can't go wrong with a giant turbine, right?

Couple of detail shots.

'Naked' mode. Some of you may consider the exposed ball joints and bionicle hands lame but they add a ton to the playability; I feel like they still fit the overall aesthetic and level of detail. The thing is a blast to play with and much more durable than most of my mechs.

Thanks for looking!

I always have a load of respect for any mech that has a high playability factor built into it. Your detail work is also great with the turbine/wing design and multiple weapon configurations. Giving it moving knees would make it more flexible but could also throw them out of scale with the rest of the design. As far as the Bionicle parts go they just fine here in my book.

Looks like you enjoyed yourself with this one. You could have just gone with one set of guns, but it looks like you decided to play with it instead. Might I suggest an aquatic suit for your next project? There aren't very many of 'em around.

This is a great looking mech, especially all the different weapons. The hands maybe look a bit skinny when they're not holding anything, but who cares? This is a machine built to tote serious firepower! Nice one.

Quoting Chris Phipson Oh, and I seem to remember reading somewhere that you "like building for competitions. It drives me out of my comfort zone and helps me think about presentation more than I normally would." Since I saw you just joined the MocOlympics group and we're (unfortunately) already well into it... might I propose this http://mocpages.com/group.php/13565 side game? I'd love to have my (bleep) handed to me by you... Hope to see you there! ~ Chris.
I'll go check it out! While I wanted to join the Olympics I didn't think I'd have enough time to compete and I was kinda tired right after Mob rules. I just now joined so I could get updates on the builds.

i think, mixing some bionics in mecha creations is sound and logical,i actually own some exo force kits[for the green giant wheels]and the parts made me consider a mech of some sort, but i don t have the hands parts! they look real good on your mech! the glassed wings are a bit big, but, does nt hurt this knock out! excellent work!
