Greek food, especially the grilled meat, is the best food in the world. So I built a Greek restaurant for Kennemerburg, the design is quite random while the name is that of the Greek restaurant in my hometown Alkmaar.
About this creation

A first shot at the small restaurant, only opened during summer due to really limited interior space. For some reasons, guests do not like to eat in the rain...

I tried to do an outside photoshoot, and it turned out pretty well, so I will do this more often.

Second outside shot.

This flag looked kind of Greek-ish, so I just added it.

I ran out of "I" bricks, so I used a "1"... (I am sooo cheating)

The little grill is actually a glow in the dark one. It lights up the restaurant.

This was actually the first part I built, I wanted to make a ruined temple, overgrown by plants, but I liked this better...

Distance shot at the wall.

The entire terrace, not so big, but they make enough profit.

The "Ruined" part of the building, you can see the Greek flag underneath the shadow of the grapevines.

Better look at the flag. Turned out pretty well, I think.

The waiter, he doesn't really look Greek, he looks more like Austin Powers...

The doorway to the kitchen, where delicacies are being prepared...

Another shot of the waiter, I removed the kitchen for better lighting.

One of the guests, waiting for her meal.

The other guests, they all can't wait for the food to arrive.

Isn't it just great to enjoy your food in the open air?

This is the kitchen, smoke is coming from the oven. Hmmm I can smell the food even from my PC...

Outside shot of the kitchen. It was added to the building later, and it is situated behind another building.

The great chef "Sakis Aleksandros", He's the best chef in town.

The entire kitchen, since it's a small restaurant, just one man is enough here.

A look at the fridge, to keep the meat fresh.

The oven, used for oven dishes like Moussaka.

Birds eye view of the kitchen, on the left is the most important shrine to the food God: THE GRILL... I don't know what the brick is originally for, but it worked as grill.

The chef, "Sakis Aleksandros", putting a piece of nice meat on the grill.
So this was it for today, This was my first (semi) serious build. Better buildings are coming very soon, they just need little adjustments.
I hope you liked it, if you do please comment. If you don't, which I cannot imagine, give constructive criticism anyway.

Very nice, hehe, your "grill" is just brilliant :p the piece is quite old actually, you are supposed to put wheels inside the holes in the brick, some magnet will connect all the wheels you put in so they spin together, but I really like how you used it :p |
