MocOlympics Round 3 Group 1C Chuke Lapman vs Michael Qoyawayma
About this creation

The Category is Modern Military Vehicle.

Link to my opponent's homepage.

The only Modern Military Vehicle, in use today, that I could think of with any charisma what-so-ever was the Pinzgauer. This is the 4x4 flat top version. As much as I would have loved to source the parts for this in green (or even dark green) that just isn't possible, so I went with a tan colour-scheme.

These, it turns out, are actually manufactured a stones throw away from where I lived between the ages of 0 and 9, so I thought this personal connection was a nice touch... no?

Features include steering, suspension and the wheels are attached to portal axles, such that the wheel axles are positioned above the centre of the wheels, allowing for greater clearance above the ground.

Oh there's a trailer, as well.

Poor guy!

All the best to my opponent, Michael.

Nice one! This is a beautiful little vehicle. It looks nice and sturdy, and tan is a great color choice. I could very easily see this in action. Congrats on the win by the way!

Gorgeous colour scheme. I like this very much because you have made a solid, bold and striking vehicle without any need for flashy bits and pieces that distract. Excellent work, good luck in round four! I can't wait to see what everybody can produce, there are some really fine builders amongst you all!

Quoting Yuri Fassio Not what I expected to see, but still very nice.
You mean the lack of armour/armaments?

It is a solid build, but I suspect you're right - time to really turn it on for the next round. Welcome to round 4. Lee.

Nice rig, the suspension was a nice touch, but you lucked out with the free pass. Taking nothing away from the build, you said it yourself, you didn't really 'bring it'. I have high hopes for you in the next round, so bring it!~H

Looks to be a default win, then? I'm not going to lie, to you, while rather disappointing, I am rather relieved, as I don't feel I "brought it" very hard, this round. Here's to a killer R4 from me...

Nice work man, good luck with your opponent. I especially like the roofing and the clean-cut windshield. The opening trailer-hitch is a nice touch as well. -Sam
