Drider from Dungeons and Dragons. Drow (Dark Elf) accursed by Lolth.
About this creation
Driders are Drow elves who have been accursed by the demon goddess Lolth for failing one of her many tests. Shunned by their former people, they stalk the twisting tunnels of the Underdark, avoiding the more powerful denizens of that darkened realm, and slaying all weaker than themselves.
