Somewhere off the coast of Peng-Cheng lies the Mistsong Gulf. The waters are covered in rocky spires, and the surface is laced with sea-weed and kelp. A thick fog keeps visibility low, so that only the most skilled of sailors may navigate it's rocky waters. But something else lurks beneath the water. . .
About this creation
The offspring of Peng-Cheng Sailors and marauding Temp'la, the Merrows are an aquatic race of half fish people. Very little is known about their race, as they live and sustain themselves beneath the water, feeding only on Kelp and Fish, and stealing whatever else is needed. Living in deep hidden crags beneath the water, the Merrows satisfy themselves with sport, causing shipwrecks. They are widely known for their enchanting songs and illusionary spells that lure sailors to their death. It is by this method that they obtain treasure, which above all else (especially gold) is held as a sign of status within their race. Merrows make good Bandits and Spell-casters, though their magic is not dictated by the blue order.
The inside of a Merrows home. Mostly gold and treasure, the only things that satisfy the need for greed.
