This Y-wing is the result of rewinding and fast-forwarding and watching Ep V in slo-mo for about an hour. I incorporated features of 7658 and 7150 but did a lot of my own stuff: improved astromech socket, cargo hold, retractable landing gear and an ion cannon that doesn't swivel but still moves so the cockpit can open.
About this creation
I purposely made the command module wider to keep closer to the appropriate dimensions. Note the "white stripes" on the engine housings.

Our rebel hero snug in his cockpit. I built a recessed seat so the pilot wasn't leaning back unrealistically.

There's the control cluster and targeting computer.

I think this is improved greebling compared to 7150.

Astromech socket plus plenty of cargo room.





These tail views show some similarities to the engines on 7658 but also the retractable rear landing struts.

Retractable landing gear fore and aft. You can also see how I sunk the floor of the cockpit.
