6-Wide Cargo Van by Phoenix Creations
About this creation
My latest creation, a 6-wide cargo van, loosely based on a some European designed vans. It's a rather simple model. It has 3 passenger doors, all of which open. The back door swings out to the side. The hood was rather disappointing. I tried so many different ways to make it open, but all were unsuccessful. For this reason, the engine is very compact and unrealistic, but it is there. I packed as many details as I could into such a small space. It is designed to be an all-wheel-drive van. The seats are rather simple, but on of my favorite features. Both front and rear are bench seats, and have a combined capacity of 6 people at the most.
I apologize for the horrible photo quality. I had to shoot these indoors, as it is dark outside, and I don't have a lot of time coming up for getting pictures. Please don't leave comments about the photos, I know they are bad. :)

Thanks for viewing my creation, I hope you liked it!

I was really happy with how the exhaust pipe turned out, but the rest of it was quite simple to build. I put the cheese plates to try to give it some effigy of a curved hood, but they do look rather bulky from its size... :)
Quoting Legofanatic 18dude The photo quality really isn't that bad, and the creation is wonderful! I like the back and the undercarriage. What I am wondering is: how can you pack a crapload of detail into something like this and still make it look like a Lego set? I think you could do without the 1X1 cheese plates on the hood, but it is an amazing creation nonetheless! :-) Come check this out: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/227113

Thanks, Firas! Ilike how the fenders blended in with my gray cladding. It worked well, I only had these fenders in gray, so it had to work... ;)
Quoting Firas Abu-Jaber Nice little model! Great to see all these details and elements on a small scale. My favorite part here is the work at the bottom and the rear end, well done all around.

Thank you! Well, the doors are really hard to open, because of the hinges I had to use, but they open nonetheless... ;) The funny thing about the engine, I didn't even know what I was doing. I just stuffed a bunch of random parts under there. ^^
Quoting Anthony Dunne Wow! This is really detailed. I didn't expect to see all of the opening features and details that I just did. I really like how much engine detailed you managed to do- working with limited space like that is tough, but you pulled it off, right. I also really like the body shape that you have created. I really like how you made the taillights, and how you made the trunk open. the interior is great to- I love the way you built the seats. Great work! Keep building! -Anthony Dunne

Quoting Bonald 1101 This is really cool! You should build more like this!
Thanks! I have had bad luck with all my big scale projects, I wanted to build something small and simple. ;)
