I really like this kind of origial design mecha. The mobility is really good. However, by the pose and the weapon you design, it still remind me the LED in "Five Star Story". What ever, it's really a good creation!

I've followed the entire series of Gundam 00 when it first came out. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I am fairly familiar with the mecha designs by now (except for those liquid metal thingies). I might consider returning to do more of the mecha from this series in the future, though I would probably want to do a grunt unit rather than a gundam. Right now, my current project is the Strike Freedom Gundam from Gundam Seed Destiny. One of my favs. In response to your question about LDD, the program does allow for some poseability, but it is very awkward. There are two problems with it: 1) There is an "x" and a "y" axis but no real "z" axis. In otherwords, the program recognizes length and width, but struggles with depth. What this means is that it is hard to position things (such as the gundam in dynamic poses, such as flying or leaping in the program. 2) The program is very finicky about part conflicts. What this means is that each piece takes up a 3-D rectangular space, as opposed to being form-fitted. Even if the piece is round or triangle shaped this is still true. So if one rectangle interferes even a micron with another, the program will not allow it, even though it would be possible to do in real lego. Its unfortunate, because this also limits the poseability of complex models somewhat. The progam is definitely handy for people like me, whose lego is now in storage, but has its limitations, just like anything else.

Are you working on anything new right now? I've got a couple of new gundams up myself, only in LDD, though, one of which, I know you'd probably like.

Thanks all, it doesn't fit in a minifigure (the style is not matching anyway imo), also attempt to further scale things down as compare to the previous works. And yes this is an original design, with a clear mission behind - use the parts on hand without extra spending... :)

Nice work on this. Is it an original design? In any case, it looks great. I love the articulation and the weapons. Does it fit a minifig?
