Star Destroyer Main Bridge
Nerve center of the Imperial capital ship.
About this creation
Star Destroyer Main Bridge
High in the command tower of Imperial Star Destroyer is situated the main bridge, nerve center of these massive capital ships. The bridge has large viewports that provide a spectaculare view over the hull and off into space. The bridge is made up of the commanders walkway and two sunken data pits. These pits hold the flight data, tracking systems and combat/weapons computers. Thay are manned by officers, specialist and supervisors.

An overview of the bridge looking from the security foyer.

The pits are packed with computers and sensors, these need to be maintained and there is R4-19 on hand to trouble shoot problems.

The personal on the bridge have a variety of uniforms to denote their rank or speciality.

To the sides of the command walkway are two annexes, on the left is the defense station and on the right is the weapons station.

Only the highest ranking Imperials walk the command walkways of these massive dreadnoughts. The ceiling holds the environment systems and lighting.

This bridge was started to be a simple back drop for my bounty hunters, but it turned into quite a big project. I am quite happy with the results but it would be good to fit lights in the ceiling.

Great job! Looks about like the real thing. And Nuparu, an entire destroyer on this scale, according to my research, would be approximately 1,320 feet long, 'bout a quarter mile. Sorry, but I don't think it'll happen!
