A ride in a helicopter

Alex just got his flying license, so he wanted to fly all by himself in a small helicopter.
About this creation


The tail. I love the skinny looks of it.


A really small fuel tank. It can be replaced by a winch to carry things.


The cockpit alone. I got in quite a lot of trouble to get the design work. It was hard to get everything under the bubble.


Just Alex in his seat and the controls. Everything else missing.


Just the cockpit. I made it easy to take off the top part.





Alex invited Andy to go with him, and he got there with a camera.


Andy got a bit too exited and took a picture of everything down below.





I don't know how I managed to squeeze two minifigs in the cockpit

A nice helicopter, reminiscent of the early Bell and Alouette machines. I too like the way that it isn't covered in guns 'n' stuff :)

The outside looks cute, almost cartoon-like - the cockpit is absolutely detailed and "real" with levers, stick & gauges. A very appealing effect, making this tiny chopper a 10/5. And thank you for NOT adding missilesm, miniguns, bazookas, rockets or that stuff to make it "kewl"...the photographer is best choice! Best wishes & keep this up, Jens
