My R3 entry for the Brick Bonanza Contest. Please read the notes before you continue.
About this creation
OK guys, before you continue please note the following:
1. This was a rushed entry. I didn't even think I would make it, but I didn't want to give Brick Star an easy win so I quickly built and photographed this guy.
2. Again I only built this to be fair to Brick Star, I was just too cramped to put a real build into it.
3. Wish me luck, if I even made it to the next round I don't know if I'd have time to make an entry...
4. Oh yeah, and today is the deadline.
5. My story of choice: Jack and the Beanstalk (or should I say Jacked-up and the Beanstalk, hehe)...
Jack and his poor mother lived in a small cottage out in the middle of a bunch of random corn fields (either in Kansas or jolly old Britain, we're not sure which). Jack's mum made corn flakes and sold them to keep the alive. One bright Tuesday, Jack's mother sent him off with the measly 25 cents/pence that she had collected in the last week for him to go buy some goods to keep them alive (barely). On the way there he bumped into a Space Gypsy (oh did I forget to mention that this story takes place two-hundred years into the future?)... and was scammed into buying some 'magic' beans... he thought his mother would be thrilled, finally, they could start selling bean flakes as well! So he returned home, extremely happy and filled with glee. Eh... his mother didn't feel the same way. After blowing her top and screaming for 3 hours straight she threw the magic beans outside. 1 hour and many spankings (ouch) later, Jack went outside. And what did he find (you know). Where his mother threw the beans... was a giant beanstalk! Now he was very tired from his beating and thought... how the **** am I going to climb up this monstrous beanstalk... but it was a simple solution. Why would he waste all the energy when all he need to do is go into the shed, and pull out his (late and thats late as in dead) father's jetpack! And zoom there he went... up to the unknown... to find a gansta goose and a midget with big mechanical pants or something like that...
I will not continue with the rest of the story, as this where the picture is.

If possible you should build more of the story, it would be fun to see more "a midget with big mechanicle pants" That would be something to see.
Epicly funny, even more so in that you did it in such a short time =)
Maybe I will, actually :) |

Who! What are those pieces on his arms? I need some of those! >Eric
He has an official LEGO rubber band strung through his arms down through his torso over to the other arm to increase flexibility but keep the arms attached to the body. Thanks! |

|
|
Why would you let me win? I was exited to go head to head with you in R3! The theme was a challenge, and my opponent was a challenge! Oh well, I just hope in R4 I'm up against someone who will go all out.... |

Nice story. Does Jacked in the title have anything to do with Jack? Or just a coincidence. I liked it. But there could have been more pictures. (7) points |

That's exactly the same dilemma I'm in! I actually just finished my 15 minute build a couple of seconds ago. Well, it was fun competing with you and good luck in future contests! -Drew |

Second! Hahahaha! I love the jetpack. The story is HILARIOUS! You could've added more, though. 5/5 Note:You could've added more BUILDING, not commentary. 400 words is enough for me. I saw your samurai sam vig and thought the rockiness was GREAT! Do you have any advice?I need it BADLY. Thanks.~MinifigManiac |
