In the summer holidays, Eric's dad took Eric and I to London for a day out. The highlight of the day was the LEGO event at the Science museum. We had literally unlimited LEGO bricks to build any type of aircraft we wanted, the only snag being that they were all standard 2X4 bricks! I set out to make a massive plane, not unlike the Concorde you may be able to see in one of the pictures. Sadly I realized that I probably wouldn't be able to complete it by Lunch time. :( I destroyed what I had done and made the two smaller model you see here. They are also posted a separate MOCs.-My Airplane ,my cargo ship. The event was run by the Brickish association and the lego was provided by the LEGO company (only for loan...). It was great! If you or someone you know on the pages went then please tell me! The "display" set up by the "master builders". They just, slightly, a tiny bit, uh underestimated, shall we say, how many people would turn up. The resulting "display" was more congested then planned. The Concorde appears to have been misinterpreted as an aircraft carrier...
A kid who worked next to us. He was amazed by my plane.
Our spot. That is Eric's dad in the picture. He built an awesome hot air balloon. I'm sad I didn't get any better pictures of it.
My Cargo Ship (as in star-ship), i couldn't resist to do something a bit more Star Wars!
