MocOlympics Round 4 Group 1 Chuke Lapman vs Spencer the Soccer Player
About this creation

The Category is Lego Wear - "MOCieval Times".

Link to my opponent's entry.

We have a quiver, a bow and arrow and my favourite piece, a bracer (armguard).

Behind the scene techniques. The arrow needed the reinforcement, otherwise it tended to droop.

Think somethings happened to this picture during uploading.

Everytime this happened (only twicethrice) a certain MOTORHEAD song started playing in my head.

Thanks for looking and good luck to my opponent.

I would have voted for you Luke er... Chuke. These arms are ridden with quality! You join me in losing this round, there is no shame though, both our opponents did really well.

Hey Chuke-Luke, nice freakin' job on these. Don't let contests throw you off course, you are still one of the best builders around! The MOC Athalon almost made me lock my bricks up, but then I remembered there is nothing more relaxing than sipping a pint of ale while building some nutty thing out of plastic bricks! Cheers!

Sorry - you do not have my vote. Lee.

Excellent work! Both entries were PURE quality! But sorry, Spence edged you out with quantity. He got my vote. Good luck! ~ Chris.

Love these Luke, the techniques to get the quiver and bracer are especially good and a bow would have been my last choice for Lego weaponry because of shape and strength so great job there, really pulled off well. And brave man for stepping in front of the camera!

Nice bow, that armpiece is pretty awesome as well, I think I can say I'm quite expierenced with the use of nets in lego creations but I never thought of using this flexible piece for lego wear, good job and good luck

Well done. Everything fits well, everything looks nice and streamlined. The judges are going to have an awfully hard time judgeing this.

Did Lee corner you in the bathroom too? That guy sure gets around... Actually I'm teasing, you're a handsome man I can see that, even if a measly 2 sec timer is not enough time to perfect one's Zoolander pose. The build is excellent, very tough work, I struggle to even think of where to begin for something like this! And I love that arm-guard piece.

WOW, this is truly going to be a tough call for the judges. I think Spencer might barely edge you out....BUT, I'm not a judge so what do I know?! LMAO I love the bracer, that is pretty trick. The arrow looks a bit too small for the quiver. That picture of you is probably one of the funniest looks I've seen in a long time! LOL Good luck to both of you, this is a very tough category! Chris isn't working today, so don't panic if he doesn't judge you guys quickly.

I think you did a better job, through a technique standpoint. The bow is very nice and so is the quiver.

Quoting T. Young wow a bow and arrow, and a quiver(i think i spelled that right) and an armguard wow lots a work. does it fire the arrow at ANY velocity???? if it did that is the most epic thing ever
Indeed it does... a downward velocity with an acceleration of approx 9.81m/s/s (In other words, no. The bow is nowhere near strong enough and the Lego string has no elasticity, either)
Quoting Spencer The Soccer Player Well done. Everything fits well, everything looks nice and streamlined. The judges are going to have an awfully hard time judgeing this.
Thanks, Spencer. I agree. A tough choice. Good luck to the both of us.
