The Time Machine 2002 (Part 2)
This was one of my first MOCs after my dark ages. And though it´s an oldtimer and not a DeLorean (there are already enough LEGOŽ versions), it has something to do with a time machine.
About this creation

Like my first MOC, this is a creation from the 2002 version of H. G. Wells Time Machine movie. Actually I´m not much into cars, therefore I don´t even know what kind of car that is.
Maybe somebody can help me with that, please?

A few days ago I finally bought the rubber bands I used as tyres. And I thought a little vig (thanks to Mister Bones I know the difference between vignette and diorama now and can correct it for my next Doctor Who MOCs *thanks*) would do the whole thing good.

Anyway, this little automobile is the final reason why Professor Hartdegen travels into the future. And as you can see from this side, the car is heavy enough to leave tracks in the snow.

Great job on capturing the effects of the old 'tin lizzy' there! I like the 'snowfall' as well, wish it would do it like that in legos where I live... Keep up the good work! -Ultra

Quoting Hans DendauwNPD Yeah, I already commented on this, but that title shot put an image in my head of you tossing up a handful of studs, over and over, trying to get the perfect shot! LOL Silly, yes, but the thought made me laugh!~H
Haha, believe it or not, but I really thought about doing it like this, but then I realised 1. I´m alone 2. I´d have to stick my head and arm into the small light tent and 3. the whole scene was lit by real candles and since fire and vacuum cleaners are the only enemys to bricks I decided to to it digital.

Nice work, I love how you made it so the round studs made a snowing effect.

This is beautiful! The car looks excellent and that lampost is stunning! I've always wanted to tackle the original "Time Machine" but when it comes to vehicles of any kind I am at a loss as to how to make them... also that title pic is a work of art!

Quoting Hans DendauwNPD I believe it's known as a 'jalopy'...LOL Great little scene and of course the title shot with all it's coolness!~H
Hm, I guess you´re right, though jalopy is still a group of different types of cars. I almost believe they built this one specially for the movie. I couldn´t find any particular in the net, so I built mine from movie stills.
