So this modular building of a classic quick-stop took a couple weeks to complete and take pictures of, and was great fun to build, mostly because I've ALWAYS wanted to make a building like this.
About this creation

Well here it is, in all of it's old-timey glory. I've always liked those slanted roofs that are flat on top.

Pigeon-sitting-on-top-of-a-telephone-pole's-eye view.

The roof. I got most of the dark red slanties from the Cafe Corner set.

And here's the roof, not much up here but a small satellite dish and the small venting system's vents.

There are two fans on the top of the ceiling, which comes off very nicely.

This is the inside. "Furniture" includes two foodstuff shelves, the checkout counter, and a small drink cooler.

Here's the cooler, more pictures of that will come later.

And the two metal shelves, more pics of those later as well.

And here's the checkout counter, supervised by our two employees Flare and Jason Corlett.

No, you don't have to climb over the counter to get in.

Here's Jason Corlett, alert and ready for the next customer.

And Flare, sleeping on the job!

Here are the extra pictures of the cooler and shelves as I said would come around. If you look at the left (from your perspective) glass panel in the cooler, you'll notice that a piece is missing, yeah, I lost it.

And thanks to Flare, Jason Corlett, and Master N the Making for being in my MOC. Not that I had to ask permission or anything...
So I guess that's all for now, if you have a sigfig, and you want me to make it (so that you may show up in future MOCs) leave a link to it in a comment, and I'll do my best.
Anyways, thanks for checking it out!

Some of the hardest things to build are the most mundane. But with your level of attention to detail and proportion, you achieve a level of fidelity rare indeed. Much harder than spaceships or whimsical machines. Everybody knows what REAL stuff is supposed to look like, and they tend to be less tolerant when there expectations are not met. In this building, The fans, the shelves, and the ice cream in the cooler are all spot on! Right down to the chrome grill tiles at the bottom of the refrigerator. This thing is great! Attack! |

Awesome design! By the way, thanks for your comment on my "Christmas Carol" tower. I'm a huge fan of stud-less builds too, as you could probably see from some of my creations. And on that subject, stud-less definitely applies to your build here as well! Nicely done! |

I was also wondering if it was okay with you if I made a secret group and only me and you were members and talked about private things like joint projects.
Sure! That would be pretty cool. |
