Taking the last pics this morning, the 4 cross roads ring at the door!
very good news indeed!
ok,now this is what i thought i d use for my city centers,
a quad of commercial buildings, with basic needs coverage.
now,that i m further into the build,
i find that i mismanaged my colors,i should have used my light grey, blue, and green on the facades only, since i never have enough for 2 levels now.
i m quite happy of the results of my framing technique though,
i v already done all doors and windows for both levels!
i have given this a lot of thoughts!,i m happy to see results at last!
like this,it s quite basic, but,i ll put more props later!
the back alley concept,is something i want to push further,
as people rarely use it.
i d like to insert gardens, and greenery of some kind!
i m a bit over 200 now,you can count them if you want!
i m happy to report that most of them have unique faces,
police,fire,hospital,hotel,bank,public transport,all done!
the construction master planner,manoxylo,and me!
for fun ,i left the workers on site for display!
here,we can see each bulding s delivery trucks and system,
and also the garbage collection routine!
i really hate the black here!,as i had planned this to be grey!
humm,lets introduce the shops,shall we?...
this is the hardwhare shop!
this,the sport shop!
in delivery,timing is everything!
the green building is the grocery store
the red is the post office!
here, some mail as already arrived!,the workers are moving the frames now!
i show this to picture how i had planned it for a while,
ultimately,it did nt work,as the 2 plates were overlapping each other!
i had to go old school, and use normal plates...$$$
after i remanaged my colors,i ll be ready to get to 2 nd level!
this pic shows how i ve seen it from the start,
i never knew how much it would really cost though!
or how hard it would be to get some stuff on time!
one can question if it s worth it...
but, building is nt all,i ll do stories with this!
and that s my forte!
with 8 crossroads in hands,it fares a lot better to finish this for the holidays!
i had 15 crappy christmases,now,it looks a lot better!
yeah,a lot better!
next time,i ll post the entire city!
since i ve received all missing crossroads!,ready for completion!
i mentioned before some mods needed for the passenger train wagon,
well this is it!
the center wagon
a closer look!
i ve installed small side doors for acces!
mail-bank transport wagon!
now,the cargo train,
i thought that the original cars we re uninspired,
so i ve made them a little longer!
here is how they look like now!
in my last journal,i ve mentioned about an exentricly designed 5 wide car ,well, that s it!, unfinished thought!
well i did nt do the 5 wide red sport car,
or the road train either,
so it is in my plans!
as are the centers,
as for the hotel!
i need the public transport set to do so,
no more crossroads!
after that it s the train depot, and maintenance building,
and the houses!

as i m also envious of your vintage gems no doubth, but,of course i HAVE to be hard on myself to achieve what i have in mind!,i m very serious about this,i always wanted to do movies!,i m building a studio!,the actors are in plastic,so they don t complain much!,if i ever get your sig fig face, you ll be in there!,on u tube!,nothing but royal treatment for you at cybercity my dear friend andy!,limo, royal suite at the hotel!thanks for your friendship and support!
Wow, this is a huge building complex. I´m very impressed. Love the inner courtyard, and how you put everything together, including the fire and police stations!
Speaking of layouts - have you seen one of my old ones from when I was a kid:
I liked this one a lot, and later, I only built one more and better one of which I unfortunately didn´t take pics anymore...
Comme je ne serai probablement pas là jeudi, je t'ai envoyé un courriel avec les détails pour te joindre à QuéLUG.
As for the construction itself, I don't usually comment on work in progress, bu I do like where you're going with your town center. Nice job!

for now,it has to be the bank!,i m still not entirely satisfied with it,but,i love it!,in truth,i can say i was a bit disapointed with the response to it!,but, with a distance ,i can understand why, there is no real scene with it,it s almost just the bank, not much figs,so i ll reajust some day!thanks for your interest!

yeah,so do i,and the inspiration came much from a place where i used to drink with friends,it s called the st sulpice in montreal,it s designed like a big backyard!and there is plants growing on the surrounding walls!,it looks very nice!,thanks for your comments!
Quoting Ludgonious .
thanks a lot!,i m honored by this!,when the time comes,i ll have a proposition about the universe conjuncture of both our worlds!,mine isi nt on earth either!,so...it might be in a system near lugdonia!,but,we re still not worth yet!,later...
Quoting T.K .
you deserve it!,and i m sure you re more than qualified!,i ll send instructions and infos, this will be more grandiose than you could ever imagine!,and ll have repercussions on the real world!...be ready!!!
welcome on the ecolo revolution tk!
:) infact, the thunderbirds inspired me to make the base, didn't have enough time to get very extended because of the time limit in the mocolympics, however it's very realistic I'll build a new base, including a TB2 inspired vehicle (with garage and landing strip :p). A new streetrace is on my mind as well, I want to make a stop-motion, right now all I have are two sports cars and some police vehicles
Where are you going to put Cybercity once it's completed? In a giant warehouse????? I wish I could afford alot of sets. I know what set you need! You could get it from Ebay or Bricklink. It's a bridge from 2000, that is really big. Comes with big road plates and a big blue/yellow crane. I have it and it's money worth spending. When I find the picture, I'll post it here.
Simply stunning!!This is ultimate lego, I could spend the rest of my life just playing with it, its brilliant and you should be very pleased. If you have any kids im sure they will be very proud of you.
