The Wraith: want a Reach version? It ain't happening.
About this creation
Now I'm going to say this flat out: when I saw my old Wraith when it first finished, I was dissatisfied. When I modded it to look like the one now, I was still dissatisfied. When I created my Anti-Air Wraith, I was still unhappy with it, and even now, staring at this newest Wraith, it still does not make me feel content.
That's my opinion, so don't think it will look horrible...many of my friends said that this thing is the most accurate they've seen in a long time.
Here's the Hornet approach, and you can notice that the whole front part is completely unchanged from the AA Wraith. Yes, this part of the body I am content with. Plus, now that the colors are all on their right places, it looks smoother and curvier. However, the back is changed completely from my last one, and you'll see how in a moment.
Here's a shot from where you might get boosted and splattered. Pretty much no build changes here, either.
Here's the side view, which really didn't change but didn't content me either. It's all to grey, needs some greeble action. If I could greeble, to say the least. If one of you kind viewers knows someone on the Pages who can mad greeble, give me the link to his site and I'll learn like an apprentice.
Here's the front, again, no structural changes here. One thing I am happy about is how the gaps in the "wings" are not as visible because of the drowning of blue.
Here's a shot of the plasma cannon, and the folded up mortar.
The cover flaps fold outward...
...the mortar rises up...
...and the mortar warms up for some sheer killing power! Although I am always impressed when something like this works, the mechanisms are too tall, the cannon isn't long enough, and the storage bay is *still* to high! MENTAL MELTDOWN!!! Aaaaaauughhhh...
Here's another shot of the back, showing the concealed weaponry and the same exhaust port that you can destroy. By the way, did I put it in the right place? Halopedia never gives shots of a vehicle's butt, so I have no idea.
Here's a rather pretty shot of a mortar going over your head. I know, it's supposed to arc, but I really have no care by now. You can see here how the cannon was built and if it matches up to scale...
Well, I'm glad that this thing came rather early, but it's still not the best out there. Meh. Give me your critiques.
==EDIT==Because absolutely NO ONE comes to check out any updates I put on my page, I'm putting them here.

I like the Wraith, but I agree with you when you say it needs some work. Speaking of Warthog mods, check out my Reach Sneak Peek 1, out now, and see it's Warthog. I'm rather proud of it.
Sadly, I am grounded and cannot post full MOCs due to lack of time. But for now, a sneak peek should suffice.
