Yes I know that there is no such vehical called the u-wing which is why I made it up. This fighter hosts two pilots for both forward and rear attack/defence and one astromech droid. Four forward facing blasters and four missles, the back sports only three blasters and four missles. The idea was to make it look like an early snowspeeder, the same way the x-wing is to the ARC, y-wing changed slightly, and the v-wing to the tie fighter.
Clearly those are not rebel pilots but its what looked good. Rouge stormtroopers.
Here is the rear view of the fighter. You can see the three blasters with the heating grill placed above it and the alternating missles.
The under shot, the vehical lays perfectly flat.
A side view, the over all length at 36 studs long.
The head shot and you can see the blaster cooling system on both sides.
Another rear view shot.
The overhead shot. You can see the pieces are mainly star wars lego in origin. The blaster covers from troop transport, the rear engine curviture from advance tie fighter. and the cockpit windows from both the snowspeeder and the y-wing.
This set took about three hours from mind to brick and is about 175 pieces.
