My first large scale car! :D
About this creation
Hi! You people know me as a builder who build cars in small scale, but I decided I should try making a larger car and so here it is: my 1964 Ford Mustang convertible. I would have made it a coupe or a fastback but because of the small amount of bricks I have I wasn't able to make a hardtop version. I might make more large scale cars but I will make more smaller cars because that's the scale I'm used to. Over the past years I've always been trying to make large scale cars but they were all failures. First I tried to build an EVO X, then a GT500, then a GT convertible, then a Bentley, and the last failure was a Porsche 911 carrera, I was almost done with it but I wasn't satisfied enough so I broke it down. Anyways hope you like it!

Engine, oh what a mess. My brother teased me by saying, "You call that an engine? Are you sure you just threw in some random bricks?
doors opened
hood opened
trunk opened
Pedals!
folding seats!
Bye bye picture. Please leave a review before you leave this page!
special thanks to: My mom for finding me a big piece of white paper for the background, my brother for telling me what I should change on it, and Dylan Denton's Pontiac Firebird which gave me inspiration.

Personally, I'm not a great fan of the Mustang, but your model of it is pretty much perfect. It was instantly recognisable from the thumbnail. Lots of details packed in there, I especially like the folding seats. That a neat trick ;) Great model, keep up the great work :) - 5/5 |

Your first successful large scale? This makes it look like you've been building them for years! I love how much detail you put in, and the lines follow through perfectly to the original. My only problem, the rear bumper needs to stick out a little bit, the rear looks a tad flat. But I don't even know how you would do this easily, so it's a minor thing. 10/10! :D |

Awesome build my friend, and massive co-incidence, I turn my back for 6 weeks, build my MOC and on posting it find you posted this beauty a few days earlier. We must have been building at same time! Puts mine in the shade, but please check it out and constructive critism most welcome. |

Amazing work here, even if the engine is a bit "random". I'm digging the crazy SNOT work on the front end especially, and the color finishes everything off perfectly! I could tell right away which car this was, just by looking at the main photo. 5/5!! |

Cool, and about my Fiesta I already made it the middle 4 studs long in my Vig, I wanted to try it in a 3 stud way and it looked WAY better. Nice job of your first large scale. 10/10 |

Perfectly recognizable. Cool details. Terrifying engine, random parts or not! Great interior. Overall, a smooth, clean build. Keep it up--I'm a fan of 10-wides too, but larger scale is also cool. I've had some of your troubles with lack of parts too...had the front half of a toyota FJ built perfectly, but ran out of parts. (It's posted as the last picture in my 'dragon'). -matthew- |
