A-wing fighter
My completely custom Rebel Alliance RZ-1 A-wing interceptor-with a Mon Calamari pilot...
About this creation

cockpit

LOL sorry that i'm boasting with my mon calamari fig :P

this is quite accurate if i may say so myself.... and i don't have either one of the official a-wing sets.... mon calamari is actually Nahdar Vebb from Grievous' starfighter set....
Originally this was meant to be a junk of A-wing on Malastare but it was too big for that dio and so.....

nice work. you capture the shape perfectly. most people and Lego make the body too long and not wide enough, but you got it right on.anyway keep up the good work.

Quoting W Mark When I saw the title on my activities list I though "Oh great, another klone kiddie has made a crummy spaceship and/or copy of a set." I was, as it turns out, completely wrong. Very nice!
thanks- i fear i'm too old to be "a clone kiddie" :P

Nice A-Wing! I have the orignal A-Wing made by LEGO back in 1999. WITH the instructions too! That is about to fall apart.

Quoting Brickdoctor - So you don't have Mr. ItsATrap? Oh, well, it's still a nice A-wing. I like the shaping down the middle, but I'm not sure about the studs-up nature of the 'wing's/sides/fuselage. Great job on the rest of it, though!
with custom body Nahdar will be good Ackbar too :P

Quoting Donny Valois WOW! Amazing accuracy. The only thing that bothers me is that the area inside the engines has those green pieces. In the movie, they seemed like they were red or purple, not green. Still, amazing job.
SW-engines change color - usually from blue to yellow- in A-wing's case from purple to yellow- i used same plates as official lego version- which are yellowish green- not green- but yeah they aren't accurate- but i didn't have yellow plates and orange is not accurate either.... perhaps this uses different fuel :P

Quoting E.K.O . Great job swash! I like the design and color scheme, but there's somehing wrong with the engines i can't put a finger on. Anyway could you look at my AT-ST?
it is probably that those white things aren't completely round... i didn't have better pieces....
