The Light Interceptor A-9 Vigilance
About this creation
The A-9 Vigilance is a well-unknown expanded universe vessel, developed by Kuat as a medium range light interceptor so as to compete with Sienar Fleet System. It is shaped to have good maneuvrability, hyperdrive, and acceptable power (With Blaster Canon which can rotate at 90°)
I've built this MOC just for fun, and because I had more pilot than ship ... I was also inspired by the Anakin JSF canopy in order to comptete with the few A-9 MOC I've seen on the web.

Impressive, most impressive. almost exactly how it apears in Dark Empire and the New Essential Guide to Veicles and Vessels. However, The nose looks a little off and I think the landing gear are suposed to be longer. Reply to Star Wars nerd: The New Republic got their hands on it during the cloned Emperor's campaign.
