the complete layout, with all cross roads, and buildings
About this creation
i really wanted to have all 8 cross roads to do a complete layout display,so...
here it is!,some people figured it woul dt fit,
here is the proof that it does!,
and also shows how evident that we need a bigger boat! [jaws] heu,...house!
if we ever want to have an airport and harbour!
here in the yellow vehicles portion of the town,
is the new construction site!
behind the municipal garage and recycling water center,
is the train depot, where all cargo merchandises arrive in the city!
i m still missing the grey plates for that!
note that i already had the car transporter for months now!
way before i had any train!
the buses are at the public transport station,i ve dissasembled the hotel,
to have a better estimation of the space available to build what i have in mind,
i used it s grey plate here!
the helicopter and limo, are for the city s most estimated guesses!
here we can see that the girls [renaude, mano, amelie]already have a house,
while we boys have none!...yet!
that should change this christmas!
renaude s farm, next to the missing hotel!
sorry about the blurry pic!,i had to use it to show the public parking!
the taxis wait for customers here!
a good portion of the grey plates will be used to board the train on the deck,
another to park buses, and finaly the station building itself.
on the 2 nd level, will be situated the hotel terrase, and toy shop!
it will be on top of this very plate[grey]
the toy shop will consist of;
the toy shop x2,
toys r us and lego semis x2 each!
+brown bricks i already have!
can t wait to have the centers finished!
maybe this week end!
between the municipal garage and amelie s house, will be situated the park!
it will be used for market and singing!
here we can see the caleche,[horsed chariot?]
and coco the clown searching for customers!
the train depot is quite vague,
as i only cleerly want to use the toy story 3 kit of zorg [x2] to have oil tanks!
i ll need wharehouses,and forklifts,where will i take that?
i still don t know, but for that,i consider an old kit on the net!.or elsewhere,
i know there used to be a green truck with forklift the years before,
i just don t know how much it would cost me to get 2!!
i m still missing a lot of green plates though!
and road plates will make it look so much better!
especially here at street level,[my fav!]
the commercial side of sidewalk is 6 all long,
we ll do 4 for residential!
there will be parkings on the street sides everywhere!
what a difference with the complete city layouts of the past!
it s a dream come true!
i ll refine and polish this, like a pearl!
a last overview!
next time i post the entire layout, the hotel should be finished![3 grey plates]
so don t expect it to be next week!
hopefully,it will be done for christmas!
i will surely find a layout to fit the christmas tree!
Your city is really big like mine, but you should made a mansion for it to be your house and be like the millionare of the town. I made that with my city ill upload the photo for you to see it and if you would like to be in my group
This town is ambitious! Soon it will grow into a city! I love the diversity of features. The hospital and the garage (with the red/yellow/red car shells on the roof) are both very attractive. It’s a busy place. Lots of building and improving going on. I guess the population grows by 10 citizens each week. Beautiful! Attack!

check out jasper s town!
he has some of the most charming buildings of moc pages! his houses styling is the best for small towns! be sure to check his next layout!
as for my next layout display, i m working on the railroad bridge, next to the park!
i ll do it as soon as it s finished!

Thanks for your comment! This is absolutely amazing, not just its size, but all the little details! It's so great that you are sharing what you love with your kids! I bet they enjoy having you for a dad!
Quoting Stephen Abbott
thanks stephen!,i really love your work as well,i would really like a piano like you ve done,in my hotel!,i ll work on it until i do!
your stage is also inspirational for my park!
after i ve seen your childhood city,i can tell you, that i had nothing compared to what you had!,i never had more than 10 kits!,2 of that were big,the rest was vehicles,i only dreamed of what i own now!,and i like it much better do make a studio now, than to play then,as i now have all the digital effects needed,to do movie quality stories now!,the audience will be the world!
This is a great layout so far. I can really see how you´re re-living your "Lego childhood" together with your kids - and that´s a great thing! This layout reminds me of some of my former ones. I had them on the floor like this one here, and on long U-shaped tables as well. Train tracks always were an integral part of any city layout... Many of them all around and throughout the entire city. 12V and 9V illumination, 12V and 9V tracks integrated... Man, I loved those layouts. And one day, I´m gonna complete my huge airport/airfield layout with infrastructure (train connection, large highway, a huge terminal for which I already own over a thousand trans-clear panels, etc.).
Looking at Cybercity makes me look forward to the future, as it encourages me to one day realize my own one again. If only one could be a kid again:)... Best regards, Steffen
Dear Frank, thank you very much for your very nice comment! I am glad you like my new aircraft model, the Sojourner. Frankly, it was the most difficult one I have built so far, and the most complex one when it comes to building techniques. Although I think that nothing will ever get perfect in Lego, because there are certain unavoidable flaws (like the imitation of rounded sections of aircraft). Some people have critizised the nose, and my guess is that this is what you meant with "looking rough". Though again, I think that both nose and tail are my best ones so far, as they include a continuous, narrowing flow of the fuselage on the sides AND stepping from both on top and below (in contrast to the Falcon´s nose and tail sections, which were purely based on stepping of slopes, plates and bricks). I would love to set up an airport layout already, but we have a space problem in our current, very small appartment. So I´ll have to focus on aircraft and some vehicles for a while. The amount of pieces I own actually isn´t too big of a problem - I benefit from a huge childhood collection plus some more recent acquirements from some pick-a-brick wall visits:)... It´s just time and space that are insuffucient to realize an entire layout right now. The little baggage truck, I kept it small on purpose. Most of those, in reality, look small, old and very basic- so I kept it in 4-wide and stylictically simple. Nonetheless, that little thing is tons of fun to play with:):):) Anyways, thanks again, and we will talk soon!
Quoting Will Aston
lol!,you re right!,i ve noticed from looking at the pics!,it was much more evident that some change in the plans has to be made,i ll figure it out, but, you can bet this will change!,as i find it out of place there too!,thanks for your most honnest opinion!,it s very appreciated!,you re welcome to comment on my page anyday!
Quoting christophe corthay
This is awesome. Alot of creations like this look jumbled and lack cohesion. Many builders attempt to put too much in. This is quite the opposite. While this is a huge moc the cohesiveness of this project is amazing. Great job man. Excited to see it complete.
Quoting Sebeus I
if i ever can reproduce you seebus,[your sig fig]you ll get nothing but royal treatment at Cybercity!,helico, limo, royal suite, ect!
in stories, you have very nice cameo appearances![that will come,]as everyone who ever commented or supported me into this adventure!
Quoting Cameron B.
hi cameron!,may i present to you a peer builder who happens to be a not too far neighbor;daz hoo!,he is a prince!,in a manner of speech,as he s talked about adhering to his club, and i ll getthem for a much more affordable price,i estimate that i could get off for about $2-300!,wich is still expensive, but, nothing compared to the $4-600,from lego!,the reason is the package mostly,as he explained there was a way to get only the straits,no intersections, packaging, wich makes much more sense!
i find it good for lego to do this as the other way seems more like abuse!
the same applies to the train tracks!
thanks lego to think of your fans!
[as long as your in some club]
thanks for your comments and support cameron!
you re so lucky to have one!,it s the one i had in mind while planing the city in early stages!,i really can t wait until your final city design!,the bridge is also one of my fav!,keep up the excellent work!
Nice, I hope the hotel is finished soon so I can stay there to explore it all in detail, some road plates would look good indeed but I can imagine the regular roadplates won't do everywhere since they only have two lanes, well, keep it up
It looks really impressive, many great and detailed buildings WITh an interior. I like all those small details in your town. And with the traffic driving trought the streets it gives it much more life. My only suggestion would be to buy many road plates (I know they are expensive because I have the same problem)
As for my white train, it's temporaly decommissioned because of the arrival of the newer passenger train and because of the lack of good and decent space for a new extra track next to the other two. But when I have more space (which would be an extra table somewhere) the track will also go there and the white train can run again :)
Needs.... to.... be.... bigger! I mean..... what about the skyscrapers or mueseum or the huge park? Wait.... this town doesn't need those. It's perfect the way it is! But how can you walk around this without stepping in it?
Quoting Caboose :D
my girlfriend and i are loosely looking for a house, but, not right now,so that means no harbours or airports!
if we ever do,you can bet i ll do them!
on the very long term [years],the public parking, service garage,
will all have multiple levels![2+]...
i just take pics, you might be as disapointed as i am to hear that i never had the chance to try the trains on this layout yet...and i never tried thepassenger one either!,i hope i ll do this week, but,i doubt so,i have the centers to get finished, and it s very time consuming!,we have 4children at home too!
so... well see!
thanks for your loyal support!,and we ll discuss a very interesting group i ll be making, and you ll be important in this!!!
You never cease to amaze me! Keep it up! Needs some more American-style tractor-trailers though! Lol, I'm just saying that because I'm a truck guy. Looks amazing! And I don't have a house either. I "live in my truck" haha
