Just a little MOC to keep my page from settling dust...
About this creation

My main focus on this build was improving my sand technique... also I enjoyed using my newly recieved ostriches! Thanks for viewing.

The sand is good, although the joust is historically inacurate. You see, the "fence" is between the jousters.
And are people riding on ostriches historically accurate? :P |

Flare, I'm too lazy to quote, but perhaps you misunderstood- I don't think being second hinders your success, but of course originality is better. Also, the first version wasn't in the right setting, and I prefer yours. |

Somehow I'm thinking them ostriches will trip on uneven terrain before the knights get to 'joust' each other. Hilarious though! XD |

I waited froward for that, and the landscaping is great, but the barrier is disappointing- it should be much longer, and less deserted-ruins looking. Good idea though, I thought it is the first 'Ostrich Jousting' MOC until I saw that link. Well, at least we've all learned an important lesson: Always try to find if someone did it before. |

Sorry for disappointing you on the fence, but really... does it really hurt to be the 2nd, or 3rd for something? I mean being the first is cool, but technically you could say mine is the first desert-themed ostrich joust :P |

Cute! But isn't the fence in the wrong place?
If you were thinking of the fence as the fence that runs between them, then yes. It was fairly difficult to fit both ostriches on a vignette of this size and then run a fence through the middle. I didn't want to have to tear up my sand work so I just stuck it over to the side ;) |
