About this creation
this is the Rapière, my sports car... it's loosely based on a law hon kin's ferrari f40 (http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/15962 , for those who appreciate nice cars) i saw around here. however, i decided to modify it a bit... my main goal was to create a car with a very distinct and unusual rear, so i went for something reminiscent of 24h le mans cars, with a bit of a ferrari enzo and some pagani zonda on the side... this is the result.

the front already shows the influence of the enzo... but the heritage (law hon kin's f40) is also distinctly visible, most notably the lights and front mudguards.
|

this side shows the flowing lines of the mudguards, which are fashioned in one. again, the influence of the original f40 is clear, for those who know how it looks.

the rear again shows the base car, especially the lights. the four black exhaust pipes are (albeit unclearly) visible. this shot also shows the two distinct "grooves" between the mudguards and the body.

here, the flowing lines are visible, along with the spacious cockpit (fits one).

the rear wing for downforce can be seen in this shot, as well as the unconventional rear.

another nice shot, just for kicks... the rear is even more visible. note the "gap" between the mudguards. i built it that way but making the main "body" stop two studs before the car itself ended, thus creating a very attractive (if i may say so) "ass"...

I rated 4/5 because it looks to squarish to me in the front. Great job though!!!! :) |

Not too shabby. Pretty nice lines considering the scale it was built on. As far as looking like a Ferrari, the centered seat makes me think more of a McLaren than anything else. Still, it looks good. |

I love the idea! This could really be a next Ferrari model. But you know what could be ever more grand than this? Make this model in a bigger scale. Make it more detailed. It could be awesome! |

Reminds me a lot of 'TURBO' from the GOBOTS cartoon. excellent work. the simplistic design makes this look almost like a bonefide lego set.
Consequently, thanks for the review of my SLIPSTREAM BANANA - I'll be posting a revised pic soon with the ATV carrier removed. cheers! ;) |

Nice, the back end looks sort of like the pagini zonda. I just don't like the windscreen, and yes, with some more slopes this would be better. |
|
|
its nice! could be a little better if you used more slopes and curves! but good concept |

Cool shape. If you had some newer slopes, it would look even better! |
