Unlike most other freighters, which are often specialised to transport one exact cargo, this ship transports almost everything. Spacious cargo holds, giant tanks for any fluids, two hangars for smaller ships all together form unlimited possibilities of freight.

Add to that ability to connect with almost any type of ship due to various anchoring points, ability to refuel most ships, and you get simply flying supermarket.

   Unlike other Swiss ships, this one is totally asymmetrical. The design changed lots, to make the ship more and more universal.

Enlarge image
   New version has whole left side rebuit, both to make it better looking and more practical.

Enlarge image
   Flying supermarket also has to be flying FAST, to quickly get to customers here and there.

   he ship measures 58 studs, which is for now my record. Of course it is mostly because of that nose, but still it is one large fish to catch ;]

58 studs = 145 plates;
One plate in this scale is 2 meters;
Ship length in meters: 290m.

Enlarge image
   Underside was build to be as good as the "upperside". The whole model is based on spine with studs on 2 sides and 2 clear sides, then encased with typical brick-based shell. However do not think that building it was easy, asymmetry generates lots of problems :)

   Three nice shots where I've played with focus. Really makes me "see" the length of this ship in reality.

Enlarge image
   First set of tanks.

Enlarge image
   Second set of tanks. Also, notice the hangar bay - it is opened on both sides. I couldn't to better floor, as any changes to it would change the outside look.

Enlarge image
   Second hangar bay, smaller but still spacious. I struggled lots before I found out this solution, which is so simple and beautiful... :)

Enlarge image
   The only one part that I do not like so much. The spine idea worked nicely for 54 studs of the ship; however installing engines proved to be a serious pain. I ended up with that, which is clearly not what I wanted.

Enlarge image
   Classical (for me) bridge - black, filled with sensors, red windows, mounted in the very aft of the ship. If the engines were done properly, the bridge would be exactly over them.

Enlarge image
   New, redefinied underside greebles. Now they are connected with upper set properly, making the ship looking a bit more understandable. It is really "killing chaos by putting more chaos" :)

Enlarge image
   Pumping pipes. They have large and small tips, and each leads to its own tank system.

Enlarge image
   A small fleet of private (or not :P) freighters hungry for cargo or fuel. Or just full of people wanting to buy something at exclusive Guillaume's shops ;]

Enlarge image
   Edouard Guillaume merchant cruiser has 6 small connection points, 2 large, 3 rigid pipes and one not rigid, extendable. Here all 5 of smaller ships found a place to dock without any problems.
