My Entry for "gorcb first contest: not a lamborghini, not a ferrari but a... ." Specifically my 1st out of third entry.
About this creation
It's been a loooong time since I was invited to a contest, so being invited was I pleasant change of pace. As for my other projects, my McClaren F1 is nearly done(including all those blasted hinges!), my custom A-wing is looking spiffy, and my other trucks are done. As for THIS car, it came together quite nicely, aside from my cat "helping" with the photos...
The front /w/out flash
It'd look better with windows, since the a and b pillars are so vertically placed.
The back, with 4 exhaust pipes.
Hood, doors, trunk
The 7liter V-8, complete with some greeblies and a nice carburetor like the real thing.
The door shot
The 2 comfy bucket seats
The interior has (run now if you hate the list): steering wheel,gas/brake pedals, shifter, glovebox, radio, speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, temperature gauge, other gauges that-I-don't-know-what-do-but-were-in-the-real-pics, and some other things.
The shallow, but roomy trunk.
Some overall shots to wrap up the MOC...
Whose that poking out from the bed sheet?
*Whap Whap Whap*
Hmmm... I dare say my kitten doesn't like Grifos all to much.
Well while my cat destroys the bumper, you rate/comment/build/look at other things.(Select One)
Interesting car :)
I did a drawing of the Grifo 90 a month or two ago. I discovered the marque from their Isetta model, being a bit of a microcar guy - I found it amusing that a company previously making cheap, economical vehicles suddenly moved on to high performance sports cars.
Nice build, I like it.
A very solid entry! and a great car choice! I like all the details in the cabin and engine. Its a shame about the rear window and this will lose you a few marks, but not that many...
-Usage of parts-25/25-
92/100-great score and good luck with the other judgs!
