2-ROW Mark II
2-ROW are surface to air flyers. This model is the second version of this popular craft.
About this creation

Officially, these surface-to-air explorer vehicles were initially called STA flyers, but astronauts quickly nicknamed them "2-ROW" for "Two Rockets On a Wing". And, let's face it, this type of vehicle was just that.

Fortunately for the companies who manufactured them, they quickly became the vehicle of choice for astronauts to move from one place to another. Easy to handle (the 2-ROW was so easy to pilot that anyone with minimum training could pilot it) yet very fast, 2-ROW flyers were not only used for base to base transport and terrain reconnaissance missions, but also for satelite maintenance missions and to ferry personel to orbiting transport ships.

Because it was so popular, the 2-ROW series was expanded, and a second version was introduced, this one able to accomodate two astronauts.

EDIT:
For those of you interested in this concept, J0N0TR0N1C SYSTEMS has taken it to another level by creating another 2-ROW ship, the Vireon (he mentions this page in his own page). Go check it out!

Hence I might have to take this concept and roll with it... Stay tuned!

Quoting David Calvet Ça me rappelle mon enfance...

Thanks to all for your comments! I had that MOC next to my computer for a few weeks, and for some strange reason, I kept swooshing it around whenever I waited for my old computer to finally do what I wanted it to do...
