Medium sized, inexpensive mech used for basic combat.
About this creation
I know it's been a while since I have put anything up, but I finally shot some pictures of this guy.

First of all, there are 4 rotatable joints in each leg. I'm not trying to brag about that because that is just too many, but at least I can put them to good use, here you see the SENTINEL looking up, possibly at some birds, possible shooting something out of the sky, who knows. And i finally used a non-grey scale accent color in my builds, I didn't do a very good job but I tried.

Here is a strut, this pose looks kind of awkward.
While we're here, I'll just talk about the weapons. There is a high-powered rifle between his legs (yeah i know), two double-barrel automatic guns on the lower side of the torso, and some mortar tubes on top. Also equipped with flood lights in the front, several sensors and huge antennas that are sure to get blown off in combat.

Here's the back of the mech, some good hoses and such.
So the thing is, I originally was trying to build some human-shaped thing but the torso and head looked awful and the legs were too big. Nevertheless I kept the legs, turned them around and made a mech instead, here you can see how the legs would fit the old build better.

And finally, if you thought "well it's ok but it doesn't even fit a minifig", you are wrong. It's cramped in there, and I didn't have room for any cup holders, but he fits.
Anyways that's all for now, I hope you enjoyed it :)

Really diggin' the feet, man. Next mech, try doing something different though, the chicken-walker-with-a-turret-on-top could get old some time, but not this time. |

Haven’t had a lot of time for lego recently, but I had to chime in on this one because it’s outstanding. Way to throw it down, Zane! |

I think the color scheme is great, actually, although if you were hoping for a Dawn Forge look it could be toned down a little. It looks an awful lot like something from Brian K. himself. Good job. |

I'm with Kelso. Can't agree with you about the color usage. I think it came off quite well. The consistently thin wisps here and there work nicely. Well done indeed.

Ahhhhh...It's like a breath of fresh air. It's been a while since I've seen a really nice Mech (not that there haven't been others, just haven't seen any in a while). I was even tossing around the notion of trying another one myself. But this one is wholly satisfying. Great design, color work, parts usage, even presentation. So, just...THANK YOU! |
