The Daffy-72, named after a member of the HXF Forums.
About this creation
Yeah, most of you are probably saying right now, "What?" Now enough with lengthy explanations, I named this the Daffy-72 after a member of a forum I used to frequent, and because if looks like a duck in flight. Plus, it's yellow like a rubber ducky. It's arnaments are two light tactical bombs, four missiles, and two pairs of medium repeaters. I'll point those out later. Anyways, thanks to Niko for the engine intake design. Where would we be without him? And also, for those of you asking the practical military use of yellow in battle, I just got bored and I had a lot of yellow pieces to build with, so I was like, why not? So just sit back and enjoy!
The missiles are on the outside side of the bombs, and the repeaters are on the inside side of the bombs.
This landing gear took me forever to figure out. I've had little experiance with landing gear, and in the end, I think somebody could've made something better.
This is how the front leg holds up, since the ship will fall on its own weight without it. It folds up with the leg when the ship is in flight.
The light Tacticals...
Not as much cockpit detail as I would've liked, but that's something I can sacrifice.
At least I tried to make a decent seat cushion.
The pilot at the boarding ladder. For some reason, this man looks quite similar to the pilot of the Archangel. Could they be possibly related somehow? Or even the same man? Stay tuned...
Beowulf here. It's pretty darn nice, what you got here. When I first saw it, I was thinking, some nOOb did his own version of the N-1. But, no, this is... magnificent, a creation truly worthy of recognition.
