Fire Truck
This is my LEGO fire truck. My original plain was to build a fire truck, ambulance, and fire station but because of the scale a build on I only had the parts for the fire truck. The fire truck is not based on a particular fire truck just what I an idea I had in my head of what fire trucks should look like. The truck has opening side compartments for storing gear, seating for 4 Minifigs, has opening doors and lifting cab to see the V12 engine. This fire truck took me a vary long time to build, about a week, with 2 hours alone to build the awesome engine.
About this creation

Updated pics are up!
These are the latest pics of my fire truck; they are all up to date. I have now removed the 2 or 3 megablocks parts in it, raised the ground clearance, and put on more authentic looking wheels. In fact I thought that doing all the modifications I did would sacrifice a lot of the structural strength of the MOC. Actually not only did they make it look better but they actually doubled or tripled the strength of the MOC.

I put on the old stile large LEGO wheels, they are thinner than the new large wheels and so I was able to make the double wheels in the back, it has 4 wheels on the rear axel. The new ones are too wide and are hard to fit a LEGO tecnic axel, I tried the new ones first but they cept rubbing against the fenders.

This is the engine that took me two hours to make; I decided to take a few pics of it so you can see how awesome it is.

Even though the engine was built first when I put it in I built it into the structural strength of the truck, this is what happened when I took it out:

Update:
This MOC has now been scrapped and rebuilt into a new much better fire engine the Retro Rigs Pumper II. I'd highly recommend checking it out, it is better in every way! (except the engine, the original was so good I kept it for the new truck).

Quoting Benjamin Heining Double tire's in at the rear, a load of equipment and a double cab, nice moc!
Thanks, I actually built this a long time ago. Right now it is in the long line of stuff to be rebuilt. I plan to keep many aspects such as the double wheels and that awesome engine, but I want to make the cab more realistic by making it larger so they can were there gear in it as well as remaking the whole back with more realistic pumping valves and hoses.

Very nice work.

Really nice truck, full of details and really complete. I didn't digged the scale, though. 10 do 12 wide seems too big for the wheels, and even bigger for minifigs... Still a great job, congrats =)

Great Fire Truck. It looks pretty big. Good work on the engine and hinged cab. Top MOC!
