Heorot - A Viking Hall
About this creation
One of my earlier MOCs. I based the idea from the Epic of Beowulf. Heorot means "the hart" as in stag. I tried to make as realistic a hall as possible in contrast to what LEGO have released. I ended up keeping the opera hats though, I guess they really help define the faction.

Please excuse the big blue chunk of wood, it makes it easier to move around ;)

Another fine (if early) creation. Your skills, even in their early years, are to be envied. Lee.

MOC of the day! I like it. The rock is lovely, and the interior is great! I do not quite understand how the roof would be steady, but if it works for you... Anyways, great job!

One of the best vikings creations out there. My only complaint is that there's a lot of black, but brown is so hard to come by these days that it doesn't bother me.

This model is excellent and seeing as that I have recently read Beowulf, I think it represents the spirit of Beowulf and Hrothgar well. The only reason for a 4/5 is that the rock looks out of place. It just seems to detract from the overall view, mostly because of its height. Other than that, this is excellent.

I love it. I've just read this so-called, "New Telling," of Beowulf, and I have acquired the real version of it, too. I think that this is truly a creation worthy of recognition. :)

Well done Darkspawn! This has very much the viking required to make it great. The construction methods are solid and viking-like. Keep it up man!
