An Admiral's flagship
About this creation
IMPORTANT NOTE: Unfortuantly, some of the images on this page are STILL not working! And i can't seem to find them anywhere in my documents. However, these photos still exist somewhere, because once, i went on this page when i was signed out, and the photos were all blank. I clicked on the second one and the image was shown! I quickly saved it under my pictures, but after that, none of the other broken images would show! I going to try and do the same thing for all the other images, though it could take ages to do.
This is my new flagship, HMS Majestic. It is a doubledecker ship of the line which can hold up to 26 cannons. It is my first ship 2 have 2 gundecks, making it the tallest ship I have yet built. Inside the hull is an admiral's cabin, captain's cabin, officers wardroom, 2 gundecks, a galley kitchen, a surgeon's cabin and surgeon's hospital.
An overhead view (this was the crashed photo i managed to recover)
Starboard side on the stern
The stern windows, the top having the admiral's cabin and the bottom having the captain's cabin
The name plate
The bow
The deck. The ship has a crew of 5 marines, a sargent, an admiral, a captain, a Lieutenant, a midshipmen, 2 gaurds, a cook, a surgeon and 11 able sailors.
Part of the rigging
The entrance of the admiral's cabin
The steering wheel
Another view of the steering wheel and the senior officers. The guy dressed in blue is the governor of Port Majestic, the ship's homeport which I am currently working on.

The admiral's bed
The dining room
View of the admiral's cabin
Captain's cabin
Captain's desk
Officers wardroom
The capstan which is used to raise and lower the anchors
View of the bow
The ship has 9 sails. 6 of them are simple square sails. The rest are the spanker and jib sails which allow the ship to travel in any direction except form against the wind.
A lookout
A sailor, climbing up the rigging
A custom-made cannon
The ship's full broadside of 11 cannons
Clear for action!
Fire!
The marines, using their muskets
A dead marine
The admiral and sargent
A wounded sailor
A final shot
Thanks for looking, and sorry about the broken images. I should be able to get them fixed, but it will take quite a while.

Are any of you Lord Admiral Nelson fans ? I know its a little wired for me an American to like him more than George Washington, but personally,I think Nelson was alot more skilled in tactics, logic, and combat. If any of you are Nelson fans please tell me. I'm an lord nelson fan. He managed to loose an arm, and the sight in one eye and yet he still won the battle of trafalgar, although he died.

Awesome Ship! Amazing Job! 5/5 stars. If I may I got a question, is this the first flagship you have ever made? No, a long time ago, I built another flagship called HMS Intrepid. But the stern was very blocky and it only had 4 cannons. I have also built alot of other ships from the 18th-19th centurys, but none of them are more realistic than this. I have also built the HMS Warrior out of lego, which has a realistic hull.

Very nice, great job on the shape, except the stern, I suggest you use some (inverted) slope bricks near the windows and sides but for the rest it's great, the broadside is not exaggerated and shows some good firepower, good job Yeah, the stern is always the hardest part, and I don't have many sloped pieces. |
