Of all the bizarre creatures seen so far, the doom beetle is easily the most recognizable when compared to the life forms of earth. In essence, itís a giant rhinoceros beetle thatís the size of a modern SUV. The primary difference, despite the obvious fact of having four instead of six legs as seen in earth insects, the doom beetle is able to move unhindered by the weight of its massive exoskeleton. The reason why is that running throughout its body it possesses helium filled bladders located just under the exoskeleton. A powerful set of muscular valves control the levels of helium present which in turn directly affects the amount of strength expelled for locomotion. Although a vegetarian, the doom beetle is highly aggressive when defending its territory using its powerful mandibles and horns to crush any perceived threat.
About this creation
It looks like these two bruisers are about lock horns in a test for supremacy.
Rear shot revealing the full "false face" of the doom beetle.
Frontal shot showing the beetle rearing up to appear even more menacing.
All right now this is getting pathetic. Just how many Bobís with cameras are out there!
Seems like the doom beetle doesn't like photographers either.
Get the point Bob!
There can be only one possible explanation for this many Bob's running around being pain in the arse. This guy must be a reject clonetard who only knows how to take lousy pictures and then get eaten!

How cuddly! I love this mod. I had one of those fellows that I adorned with small red spikes.
Thanks for the nod, for the most part I was getting the feeling that these builds weren't very good or at least popular based on the low amounts of recognition they received. That's okay though, I know that every build can't be a home run.

I agree that this is an improvement in every way over its predecessors. However, I don't really see the "doom" in the beetle. A cool name, but I don't really see how it fits the beetle.
Well the idea was that ugly mug on its tail was the "doom" part but maybe I didn't express that part very well. Better luck next time!

Even better than the Saber Fowl!
Thanks once again! My only problem now is that I don't know where to go from here. I'm hoping that inspiration will come along soon and give me a good stiff kick in the posterior. Otherwise I'm sunk! Maybe it's time to take a break and come back fresh.
