This is a LEGO Minifigure-scaled Recon Helmet from Halo 3 and Halo: Reach, designed and rendered in Autodesk Inventor. There is a small possibility that this design would be produced, but don't count on it.
About this creation
The tube-looking section in the back is able to be grabbed by a minifigure's hand, and the two small holes (one on each side) is for connecting the Clone Wars accessories, like the antenna and flashlight.
Comments and suggestions are helpful, especially from those who work with AutoCad or similar programs.
This is a very good idea, are You planning on machining it? Also, compare the front shot of Recon helmet and Yours. The "real" recon has a bigger slope at the top and bottom. The way You did it, It looks more like an ODST helmet. Would it be possible to produce that slopes, or would the head intersect with the helmet?
Well, since, you are basing this off of the Halo: Reach version, (I was previously thinking of the Halo: 3 version, sorry.) it's pretty well done. I would say to made the chin protrude a tad more outward instead of being completely round. Well done, BTW!
Excellent work, I like all the minifig-compatible elements to it like the clone trooper antenna slots, etc. Does Autodesk allow you to change the colors of your creations? I think a few parts on the Recon helmet are black.
