This is a world war 1 Observation balloon I made. It has a crew of 2 people and is armed with 2 shot guns. Back in the first world war, observation balloons were used to spot any enemy planes or soldiers from a long distance. Just like airships, they were filled with hydrogen. These balloons were tethered to a steel cable attached to a winch that reeled the gasbag to its desired height (often above 3,000 feet) and retrieved it at the end of an observation session
About this creation
The crew. They both have different jobs. One is the lookout who spots enemy planes. The other is the gunner who defends the balloon by shooting down planes
The gunner. The balloon has to shotguns altogether.
A really very complicated build, but I'm pretty sure that observation balloons didn't have shot guns, but they did have flak on the ground, and fighters which kept a constant look out on the balloons, I also find the... spherical-ness slightly out dated, but it is a great attempt, great work!
