CDC-200 "GEMINON" (Exteriors)
The Colonial Defense Fleet Carrier GEMINON by XIOTA SpaceWorks
About this creation
Building on the success of the CDV-001 CAPRICA and Xiota Prismatic Core Engine, the Colonial Defense Fleet commissioned Xiota SpaceWorks to design and build the Colonial Defense Fleet Carrier GEMINON.

The docking ring slots magnetically suspend up to 8 Wraith Class Fighters, each slot featuring repair/maintenance infrastructure. The internal docking bay can host an additional 2 Wraith Class Fighters.

Two CRC-NX1 Colonial Runabouts are also supported on the main platform.

The GEMINON carrier is designed for short to medium haul excursions acting from critical bases, outposts, and facilities throughout Colonial Commonwealth partnerships serviced by the Colonial Defense Fleet. The vessel provides medical, simulator training, security, and critical supply to the Wraith pilots.

The GEMINON is a product of the Xiota SpaceWorks Zodiac Initiative. It is the first vessel in this program to be granted authorization for the mounting of Colonial Class "A' Weaponry in the forward array, including Plasma Cannons and Directed Energy Rails linked directly to the awe-inspiring capacity of the Prismatic Core.

XIOTA SpaceWorks gratefully acknowledges the continued support of our exclusive fleet photography division Bryan Cooke Photography

Thank you ALL so very much for your comments. Ive never received so much positive feedback in under 12 hours from posting before. Thanks for taking the time to view and those extra few seconds to post such great comments. Peter - internal shots here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/237519 UltraMarine - sounds about right. Ive been collecting for 20+ yrs, and in the last 18 months or so started spending at Bricklink. God Bless Them. XenoMurphy - hey, you are right although I never made the association before. Definitely one of many series that influences my design whether I realize it or not! In case anyone is interested, I computed lats night that this was about 150 hrs of work. THANKS AGAIN ALL!

You've built this using pieces that span nearly 15 years! I remember some of those elements when they were first introduced. Very nice job, flawless technique. Good going! -Ultra
