My custom LEGO versions of Rufus Scrimgeour, Cornelius Fudge, Narcissa Malfoy, Bill Weasley, and more!
About this creation
To celebrate Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I, I decided to make a few custom figs based on the characters. There are one or two that are from the previous films, but most of them are DH:P1 related. For the curious viewer, they are all purist, though I definitely am not. Enjoy!
Rufus Scrimgeour
I'm very pleased with how this turned out; I personally think that the head and hair is a great likeness of Bill Nighy.
Narcissa Malfoy
I know, she's the ugliest minifigure in the world, but she is also the ugliest witch in the wizarding world.
Cornelius Fudge
This is not based off the film appearance, this is my interpretation. Please please please, if anyone knows where to find a custom bowler hat for sale, tell me! I think this still looks fine with a top hat, but a bowler hat would obviously work better.
Young Lord Voldemort
This is Voldemort just out of school, making a name for himself.
Cho Chang
This is Cho in her Yule Ball dress. I'll soon be posting a "Cho and Cedric" creation with custom decals, but I decided to make this for now.
Kingsley Shacklebolt
Apart from Scrimgeour, this is my favorite. I don't have a purple cape, which really would complete Kingsley here, but I think this is a pretty good likeness.
Yaxley
Yaxley is one of my new favorite characters thanks to Peter Mullan's gruff, no-nonsense portrayal of him in the new film. Obviously the hair isn't perfect. I may try Draco's new hair on him once I get that piece.
Bill Weasley
This is my interpretation of Bill, as a bad boy. I tried to use a ponytail, but there is a reason boys don't usually wear them, evidently. I think the Sharpee work on the scar turned out alright.
Mundungus Fletcher
This is my interpretation of Mundungus. I think he looks a bit oilier and run-down than in the film, though his appearance in DH:P1 was wonderful as well.
Walden Macnair
This is the executioner in PoA who is also a Death Eater. I like his face a lot.
Antonin Dolohov
This is my interpretation one of the Death Eaters in the pub in DH:P1. He also appears in OotP as the third-in-command to Lucius and Bellatrix, and is very sadistic, taking pleasure in his torture and chases of the trio and their friends. This was the inspiration for his face.
