Mech inspired by Chrome Hounds.
About this creation
This mech is inspired by Chrome Hounds , the video game for the xbox 360. I've never played the game, but the website has some cool concept art, and you can even experiment with building your own Chrome Hound. The idea is that you can mix and match legs/tracks/wheels, cockpits, and weapons.

I got fired up to do a tan/lt. gray color scheme from a mech WIP by Jordan Neves on Classic Space Forum.

I thought the sand red would go well with the tan and light gray for a desert-camo kind of look.

Right-hand weapons load-out features a scaled-up gatling gun based on Dan Rubin's original design, but with technic tubing for barrels (like Mark Neuman's).

Also a couple of auxilliary guns and two large missile tubes on the right.

Here's a good view of the big gun on the left hand side, accompanied by a pair of quad-missile launchers.

The chassis has idependent left/right and up/down motion for each track. The cockpit mount allows for left/right pivot and up/down elevation.

   Track greebs. Yep.

Here's a good view of the little chin-gun.

The pilot has controls, which is not always something I'm able to cram in to the cockpit.

I used nearly all my sand red on this MOC.

This cockpit looks a lot like Rabid GoldFish's pilot block for his AEGAKS. I love this build though!! >w<

Wow! You'll never belive this, but a year or two ago, I built a mini mech that looked almost exactly like this! I'll have to rebuild it sometime to prove it... Anyway, nice mech/tank. It looks really sweet. Awesome job!

Pretty good. But it's not really like many of my mechs on Chromehounds... Have you ever actually played Chromehounds on XBoxLive? It's really interesting! You should try it. BTW you are missing a lot of parts that should be on the HOUND. Other than that it's really good...

AWSOME! I think alot of your MOCs get under-rated. Most all of them should be 4 1/2 or 5! This one should definetly be 5! Btw, the weapons are awsome! Espeacially the one in he left hand. VERY good MOC! Check out my page!

Very cool, I own Chromehounds too and its alot of fun. This HOUND looks like it has Sal Kari treads, and cockpit, and the heavy cannon looks Morskov-ish and the huge, awesome chain gun looks Tarakian. Awesome MOC, great job.

Excellent! Love the color...great detail but still clean looking...cool cockpit controls. Now how about a Chromehounds based walker? BTW, Chromehounds the game is kind of...meh, but the mech building utility is a blast. Almost like LEGOS...

i had almost given up. i've gotten so engorged on the slick, pneumatic tee'd gundams and such that i was on the verge of lug-laden mess on the carpet. i thought the art of a chunky, tank-like mech that actually looked built for war was dead. You sir, have given me back hope and the mech bug again! Ole'!

Trust me, the game itself is rubbish, most of the mechs are really bad, and it's just boring. Your MOC however, is very good, i like the weapons and the wierd shape of it.
