In their time of need, the planet of Tiber created their first major contribution to the war effort against the COP. The Savior. The Savior is the first of the Savior Class Battleship line. These ships boast unparalleled speed, and armament for ships of their size. Along with advanced communications and guidance systems, The Savior also boasts advanced armor and sheilding technologies. Truly making The Savior live up to its name.
About this creation
Alright, here it is. This is my entry for the 18th Deep Space Fleets Battleship Contest.
Here are some armor panels that conceal 2 heavy turrets. Kinda. Well they shield the 2 heavy turrets.
Greeblies! Also some windows into the ship. Those are mainly mess halls where the crew get their food, and have leisure time. (Not like theres much of THAT whilst manning a battleship. No sir!)
You can see the Saviors symbol on the ship. A stylized angel wing. You can also see some of the communications centers.
Here we have a turret and a cool shot of the heavy cannon below the battleship. I really like how I enclosed it in there. In later ships this large cannon may be removed to create a carrier class ship with even greater speed. Also note the 2 medium batteries on the underside of the ships hull.
If you were being fired upon by the Savior.
The great speed of the Savior comes from this massive thruster engine. A great advance in Tiberian technology. Flanking the thruster are two other thruster pods for greater maneuverability.
A view of the other heavy turrets and the bridge (up top)
And the light turrets on the side.
This is my first Moc to use GIMP. Im not sure how it came out. Very simple I guess.
Anyway, good luck to my competitors! Hope you enjoyed my Savior Class Battleship: the Savior.

I can't believe I never commented on this. So I won't. Anyway, I love the shape and armor blocking, and excellent colour work, this is fantastic. |

:P you guys will need all the ships you can get, now that Awe, Ian, myself, and a few other members are back building COP ships... |

Howdy, Sean! I'm letting you know that Aidan (the other guy that runs the 18th DSF) and I have decided that you'd be the best candidate for command of the 3rd Flotilla (Incron) in the 23rd Century Group that just started up. It's a fun game, and we need more ships for our side. We'd sure like to have you! Just leave a comment on one of my MOCs if you're interested and we'll get you signed up! |

Beautifully done. I like the style of the ship, and the armour that shields the cannons is a great idea. But Awe's Harbinger, Danny's Star of Aor taking on this? You'd have saviour chunks and fragments EVERYWHERE. Still, great build. |

This moc made me slightly depressed. It's your first time using gimp, and the end product looks amazing. I try, and I fail miserably... But enough of me. For now... Great work with everything here. The shape, the editing *grumble* and everything else involved. Great work. |

Well done! Some great details for such a small ship. A couple of additional stickers might top this off nicely for added surface detail, but meanwhile, sweet little MOC! |
