Journeying through the Misty Mountains, Tolkien's Fellowship of the Ring is on a quest to destroy the ring that holds the power to destroy middle earth. This diorama shows the newly founded Fellowship on their first leg of their trek through a Misty Mountain pass. I have not seen the films, so the characters and landscape in this dio are based purely off of my own imagination. The wise Gandalf is seen leading the party of Frodo, Sam, Aragorn, Boromir, Gimli, Legolas, Merry, and Pippen. Within the mountain lies a secret ork dungeon, carved from the dwarf mines of Moria. Please enjoy, and make sure to rate and comment!
About this creation
Another fantastic Fellowship of the Ring MOC can be found here, made by my good friend Max Pointner.
The men: Boromir, Gandalf, and Aragorn
The hobbits: Merry, Pippen, Frodo, and Sam
Gimli the dwarf, and Legolas the elf.
Just to show that this is not just a baseplate with a bunch of minifigs thrown on it, this picture shows the complexity of the landscape.
The required artistic photo. :-)

Quoting Thomas .
Finally someone making LoTR creations from his own imagination, amazing Fellowship!! I like'em all, great job on this ;) P S Are you Jew? Asking because of blessing on your homepage. Thank you very much! No, I am not ethnically Jewish. I am a Christian, and our family has also taken into consideration some of the Hebrew roots of our faith. But thanks again for commenting, and I am glad you enjoy the creation! |

Great Paul! Love the landscape! Thanks for the link. I'll add one to yours on my page; that is if I can figure out how. Love Boromir. I almost gave him that same sword. Blah, blah, blah. I'll tell you the rest later. |

actually, rev maximus, gandalf is an Istari, not man or elf. its kinda like an angel. anyway, Amazing Jobon this! you captured the scene and characters perfectly! |

I love this, especially the humans. Truthfully though, Gimli looks a bit too asian-inspired, and legolas needs more green and brown and less white. Good job though, the cave is neat. |

I love it all except you said that Gandalf was a Human but, He is truly a elf. |

brilliant! very well done! but dude you really need to see the films! Peter Jackson (kiwi filmmaking legend directs it) and the effects even though they are 10 years old are better than some recent movies ive seen. |
