<b> About the Vig <b> This is the 4th journal entry of an Imperial Soldier who fights for the Empire trying to conquer various planets and seek out any rebel forces. This vig is the first of the three missions that the trooper doe on the planet of Felucia. This first part explains his first appearance on the planet and his mission. You will notice that the shots are blurry and I did that partially to make it seem like a wild planet with savage natives speeding by. Something that one might experience during an ambush. This vig is slightly bigger than my previous ones and it is 16x20 studs. Hope you enjoy.
About this creation

The imperial transport dropped us of at an open field, there were fifty troopers under the supervision of 10 officers. The transport that carried us was small and was only able to drop of small walkers known as the AT-GT (All-Terrain Guard Transport). Those walkers were small, and meant to support small groups. Me and my squadron of five started clearing up a path. The walker followed behind the three of us, and had a trooper in the back to look out for an attack from the rear. I was at the front.

Our field officer was officer Markin. I fought with him during my time on Hoth. He was in the AT-GT, and he overlooked the road ahead. He ordered us to keep a strait path and take out any obstacle on the way.

Then, all of a sudden, from our left flank, the natives attacked. They were swift and blended in with the environment the came down on us with bows, spears, and daggers before we could fire. They varied in colors. We didn't notice them until the moment the attacked. We were all taken by surprise.

The native that was green, threw a spear at one of the troopers, hitting him dead on, the trooper fell and stumbled down. There was no questioning that he was dead. It was a terrifying seen.

At that time, one of the other natives charged me. He advanced so quickly that I only saw a blue blur. The next thing I knew, he was on me, trying to stab me with the two daggers that he was carrying. At that point, I thought I was going to die.

But as I heard the other trooper's scream, as he got nailed with the spear, I regained control of myself, and in a struggle to overpower the native, I drew my blaster and fired, hitting him in the face. The native stumbled back and fell over.

By the time, the walker shot down the other two natives. We had one casualty, but me, the other two stormtroopers officer Markin were fine. By that time we were some ways off from the camp, and decided to bring in the dead body and report about the natives. When we got back, it turned out that others had also encountered the natives, and some squadrons didn't even return. We landed with 50 soldiers. Now there were 37. By that time the officers decided that it was too dangerous out there and called for reinforcements. Meanwhile the rest of us set up a perimeter.

End Transmission

The AT-GT with a field officer. Idea for the officer goes to Commander Hess (Check out his page).

The walker with a closed patch. This was my first custom walker and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. What do you think?
