Here is my LEGO version of the Assault Arwing. It's easier to make a detailed model of the Assault version than the 64 version for some reason...
About this creation
Finally, I get around to uploading my Assault Arwing. It is much more detailed compared to any of my past models. I intended to post a LEGO Digital Designer file, but the wings use a "technique" that the program doesn't recognize and the color of several bricks doesn't exist. I might upload more photos later, but I only have this one for now. I never liked the Assault version of the Arwing as much, and it puzzles me that it became the Arwing in Star Fox Command and not the Arwing II when it appeared in less games and later.
This model is outdated. It's a tragedy, but I can't upload v2... for now. Hopefully I can soon.

I JUST figured out how to improve the wings, Falco. However, I can't find the parts (I pretty much only have basic bricks) and I can't recreate it in LDD. So this is all for now :( |

What part of it needs work? The wings, G-diffusers, or body, would you say? |

I spent most of the time on the engines. The G-diffusers were also not very worked on, and the wings were just 1x12 technic bricks until very late in production. This, along with a lot of my others, was built weeks before I heard of MOCpages. The stand was originally for my simple SF64 Arwing, but I haven't posted it because it looks plain ugly.
I build all of my LEGO stuff from memory, so I often leave out detail. I have a giant LEGO Wolfen very very early in production, and I already don't think I'll be able to finish it. |
