Grizzly: if you thought the Scorpion was powerful, then you're a noob.

About this creation

The most powerful upgrade in Halo Wars for the Scorpion is the immensely powerful defensive Grizzly, shown here in Banshee view. Although shape wise it's one of my best creations, I disliked making this because of its size. You'll see how later.

Side view. I think the turret is a little bit too tall off the main base, but otherwise it looks well crafted.

A shot of this near tread and the nose. You notice something? The body is built with 5 STUD WIDTH. Seven if you count the whole body and not just the nose. I did that because when I had it originally in six stud, it was too thin, and I knew 8 stud was too wide, so naturally I went with seven stud. It's hard to get a good structure with the odd number of studs, but I made sure everything was connected and placed strategically to allow the strongest base possible.

The treads on this beast are basically built the same way as on the Scorpion, but these were just sized to match the Grizzly and then ascetically changed later.

The back tread, the last thing I had to finish for the Grizzly and something I just threw together as a last minute canonical figure. Very horribly built.

Here's a shot of the main turret body, which I think came out real nice.

I put this picture just to showcase the way I made the slopes on everything, by using those 1x1 and 1x2 clickies that go together and then angling them to get the right shape. I thought it's a better way of doing it rather than finding different sloped bricks to choose from, but it does result in gaps in between everything, as shown from earlier pictures. Nothing in LDD is never a win-win these days.

Shot of the top of the cannon. This came out perfect.

A grey man, or a marine, or even a Spartan can sit in this gunner's seat, complete with many complicated controls. He looks very happy that he's in that place.

Another grey man sits in the cockpit, complete with his own set of controls. The gunner may be able to blow stuff up, but he's a sitting duck if he doesn't have a driver.

The "Part" of Mixed Feelings and the most annoying picture, the comparison shot of the Grizzly to the Scorpion. Stupid Halopedia, or the official Halo Wars site, barely give any information about the Grizzly, let alone no information at all on the specifications. Is it the same size as the Scorpion? Bigger? What about the turret? NOBODY SAYS ANYTHING!! Therefore I just made it the same size as the Scorpion, which is probably wrong. Guh. At least I fixed it, because earlier, it was actually smaller. How can an upgrade make a tank smaller? No one knows. Including me.

i dont have a lego account (at least, i dont believe i do...). Do you have LDD installed on your computer? Because it wont work unless you have LDD or LDRAW on your machine.
