First this is cool to build for Creation for charity - And... it's a stunning work ! However it seems to me that the most dangerous weapon of the dragon his is ... tail, if you see what I mean ;-)

Have every intention of checking out all your stuff but this critter caught my eye first. Watch out squiddie! He's behind you! Aw, man, now i'll never know what happened to Squiddie. Wait! The Keith has told us all that we control the action! Whew. That was a close one. Squiddie almost got away.
You might be one of the first folk i've ever seen find a decent use for those wrenches. Kudos. |

I wonder who bought it.... Most people would like to receive at least a BIT of credit for donating such a substantial amount. Oh well. Here's to them! |

Very nice build and what a great cause. I miss Fredis. I used to go there all the time before I moved to the east coast. Now it's just Walmart and Lego.com. In fact, I think that I went to Fredis more often than anywhere else and that was when I lived in Meridian, ID for 9yrs. I think I'd only been to Walmart 5 or 6 times back then. Man time flies. |

That sand serpent isn't attacking, these two are meeting for a blind date, get it, blind date (snicker)! Never mind, I'm simply off my rocker again. Anyway your MOC is beautiful in a most simply elegant fashion. Now for scene No.2 have these two sharing a plate of spaghetti a la Lady and the Tramp fashion for that warm and mushy feeling! |

Firstly, good cause so well done for that. I love the build mate, the serpent is great. Are those wrenches just clutching a stud for grip? Wouldn't have occured to me to attach them in that manner, very clever. I love the contrast of tan and black, not sure why but it makes me think of a bonsai in a laquered box.
Yep, like I said, it started with the wrenches and once I realized they attached to a stud I was off and running. It's a surprisingly sturdy grip, although still a bit delicate. As for the 'box', that is exactly what I was going for. Thanks, mate, and cheers!~H |
