The Borgund Church is made of wood and was built in Norway sometime between 1180 and 1200. My MOC is not exactly in-scale but I tried to keep the general design of the church in mind while building it. I hope you will like it. It's my entry for CCC VIII in the miscellanous category. Thanks to Elisabeth, my beautiful and wonderful girlfriend, for the idea of the roof on top of the curved section.
A late comment, I just find it. Realy great! I saw those in Norway while wondering in taht part of the world. What is amazing about it is the church belongs to villagers and in the past in case of danger building was disassambled, parts hidden, when danger gone put back together. Last such event was WWII and I think only 12 survived.
Vraiment É-COEU-RANTE ton église. J'adore le mélange de brun et de noir, et je n'arrive tout simplement pas à comprendre comment tu as réussi à faire ton toit (spécialement à joindre les parties en haut). Bref, du très très beau travail!
